Would you be okay with unfinished(missing pretty broken pieces) mechs being released more rapidly, and wait for the scrap to appear later?

  1. I would be fine with unfinished mechs so long as they work. (1 votes [25.00%])

    Percentage of vote: 25.00%

  2. I would be fine with unfinished mechs, so long as they are atleast able to noticeably be damaged. (0 votes [0.00%])

  3. I Would not like them to release mechs that aren't already perfect.(Current layout for all intents and purposes) (2 votes [50.00%])

  4. I would not like them to release mechs that haven't finished all their assets (1 votes [25.00%])

This is something that could easily be done to increase the number of mechs available faster, rather than releasing one mech a month(a dismal rate mind you) you release them initially without scrap models that fall on the ground and just sit there and make those scrap models later. You could more quickly release mechs by simply making them raw meshes, that do not change based on what you load out(k2 for example) and just make the progressive damaged models and use a few sets of animations, modified for the bone system of a new mech.

This is also a much more beta-like way of testing things, dump **** on the player and se how it works, don't notify us of too much stuff or mechanics ahead of time. By notifying us ahead of time you make things like the whole ecm fiasco occur. Tell us that ecm is coming, then the day before the update say something about it.

For clarity of poll options;

1) Mechs that "just work" may have issues with clipping and arm movement and be missing assets such as debris. The pristine model would be fine, but losing arms could cause empty meshes to appear(like a blank wall on the side of a cent's torso if you knock off a arm, rather than the jagged circuitry.

2) Similar to above, but has the damaged meshes for missing parts.

3) Release them in a near perfect state. Ctf for example. Has nothing changed beyond a few degrees of arm movement and the head hitbox? Something that can be missed easily by internal testing, because devs may not aim that high or their was an issue with implementation serverside.

4) Similar to above, but the mech is released only when all assets are finished, an earlier stage than currently.

Also,for the part of your team that is actually making the mechs, at the current rate their going you may want to push back the clans till 2014.
