Merry Xmas etc ALL!
Just wanted to pass on my thoughts concerning the game to the devs on a day where its nice to get a present, no matter the form it takes.

I have been a vocal critic, many times nagging like a housewife, but only because I want to see the game succeed and I came from a mechwarrior <mwll> that set the bar pretty damn high.

That being said, with the performance improvements this last patch, the game became playable for the first time in several weeks.
Although its OP , the inclusion of ecm has drastically cut down on the ssrm spam which makes the pug experience all that much better.
THe games have been good, actually , many of them damn good . I dont mess with conquest, I prefer the purity of assault, and the games have been rewarding. I dont die because of ssrm spam, I dont die very often from pugstomps,

I die because I screwed up, And thats the way its supposed to be. Tactically, it looks as if the pug game is evolving in a positive way. Ive seen good formations, Ive seen good defense etc.

Sure there is still nonsesense and hit detection etc etc, but the combat is starting to get varied which is nice. Its as if we suddenly hit a critical mass with the number of different mechs on the field.

So, its nice to see things progressing in the right direction imo.
I hope this is the beginning of the MWO that blows alot of peoples minds.
Theres no reason it cant be that if the devs continue to work hard and be creative and glean the gold that does filter down through the forums.

An xtra present to the guy who does sound design.. Engine idle... very nice...
