Question: For those of us spending real money for Premium time in MWO, what is the plan to recoup premium time lost during patch outages??

Have you ever played any other Online game bud? Non of them reimburse you for patch day. Even as big of a cheapskate as I am (ask my wife) even I realize maintenance is part of the game.

EVE Online does. They're down 30 min every 24 hours. For ever 30 min they exceed that time by all subscribers get 1 hour additional game time. Fantastic for me because EVE down time is usually when I'm asleep.

keyword is "exceed" here, and they are not doing this since forever, in fact, they were not doing it when i was playing, which isn't THAT long ago - or i missed it

I remember the day(s) when they moved the servers though... 24 hours was expected and it was several days. We got addition Skillpoints back then.
But even for their 24 hours patchdays they did not reimburse you and i was ok with that, and i am ok with Mechwarrior not reimbursing me for a patchday - i rant about many stuff right now in this forums, but really, i am ok with this as it is.

And honestly a few hours doesn't make a damn bit of difference in a game like EVE. In MW:O it's a bigger issue because you can sub for single days.
Better that PGIGP doesn't use calendar days and instead offers hours of game time. Change the offering so that they just offer 4 hours of game time for each 1 day of subscription they're offering now; at the same price points.
