Even though ECM was nerf'd, everyone still uses brawling Line of sight firing and does not paying attention to their hard point locations.

I think the penalties for teamkills should be much stiffer. Pretty much eliminate all exp and money from the match. I know it seems harsh especially for an accidental teamkill, but it is about the only way you will get some of these chuckleheads to stop playing like they currently are with reckless abandon.
I also believe they should work on a way to display damage done to you from all sources at the time of death (like League of Legends does).
Implement a tribunal system (again like League of Legends) where you can go online and vote on reported player cases for a reward of some kind.

ECM probably isn't helping.
Oh, there's two mechs fighting over there, which one's the friendly?

If your scout pilot, or which ever mech has the ECM switches from disrupt to counter than you can tell which mechs are on your team. I use this tactic in my Cicida 3m all the time when there;s an opposing ECM mech in range. It helps your team target and kill the other guy.

Nope, I have seen (and received) much more team damage now that there is no R&R. I think people are just getting careless when they don't have to pay for repairs.

The vast majority of players dont care about their team, they dont want to become a target so they leave it on disrupt, and just drool on themselves and brawl until they die, rinse repeat ad nauseum
