I think they should set up matchmaking via your ping. 10~100 ping 100~200 and 300~500 past that you don't play at all... I run at a nice 50~70 ping at all times. I hate the over seas players on all my games. US should vs US and over seas vs over seas.

Really I don't care to play with laggers. You should have your own server but never play on ours with that bad lag. I have had that stance for over 10 years of online gaming.

The person lagging should be the one seeing things jump around. Everyone else with a smooth low ping should see that player no different than they see anyone else.

it doesnt matter if your just running 90 km/h but MW:O got it problems with faster mechs :D

Yeah, new servers all over the world should improove it, but ping filter is useful tool for multiplayer, high ping players destroying every game.

Low pingers destroy every game. Hiding behind their low MS.

Life is soo easy when your movements are smooth, your weapons hit where you actually aim and your damage actually registers...

Well, it would be frigging great if there was a server in Australia/oceania but there's not. There's only one in the U.S. which we have to play on. Absolutely NOTHING we can do about that, and we really want to play this game too, believe it or not.

Amazing. Back in the day we would curse the LPB (low ping ********). How times have changed...

How about instead of kicking people we add a delay to everyone on the server to match the guy with the worst ping? Would that help you? :)

I agree, used to admin some UT servers and would always kick people with a 200ms+ ping as would any server admin that knows how to do there job, its a totally common thing to do and will not be unexpected to the people being kicked or at least shouldnt be.

I dont see why MWO should be any different and in this day and age you dont even need active server admins you can code it right into the software to auto kick high pings.

This game is already a joke as far as netcode/hit detection goes there is no reason to let high pings ruin it further. At least give people a chance, high pings are not only bad for that person but will effect all people in that game, not fair for one guy to ruin the game for 15 others.

Sounds like a perfectly reasonable solution to me and I've been wondering why they don't do that. Regional servers would be great but until then let the 200+ ping players play against other 200+ ping players.

Kick all over 200 ms pings player will stop the testing absolutely, because low ping allow to play only for devs in local area.
(i suspect that netcode not optimized for ww-game + targeting bugs in game engine = lagshield)
May be devs need help from CrayEngine3 maker? CryTek make "WarFace" (FPS) engine and netcode with movement predict ability in this game for counterpoise low and high ping players.
You propose only for low-ping players, but not for worldwide-players...need to tune engine and netcode for all - not for local only servers.

No you are wrong, i am from EU(central Europe) and my ping is almost always under 200, i think high ping players are located near to Asia or Australia.

My favorite thing is shooting to the left or right and realizing I have to hit that guy dead center because they dont have a issue lol.
