I suggest that heavy cockpit damage hinder Mechwarriors further. As it stands, no amount of cockpit damage creates any effect other than destruction of the 'mech. I believe we should let the amount of damage to that area dictate efficiency.

For instance, if a 'mech has 75% internal structure left on the head than 75% of the monitors are still on. If it only has 25% internal structure remaining, than only 25% of the monitors are active.

Something like this would make the game more immersible. What do you guys think?

Definitely. Even MW2 had this, IIRC.

But I think it's something they're working on.
