Urbanmech. It fits the pattern. Everyone expects an Assault for #12. So #13 being a light brings us back full circle. Plus how fitting would it be for the Urbanmech, unloved piece of crap that it is, to be unlucky #13?

And to all you Urbanmech haters out there I have one thing to say; George Ledoux likes the urbie. That's good enough for me.

Kind of jumping the boat a little bit, eh? We haven't even gotten BattleMech 12 yet.

More like jumping the shark. If The Fonz can do it you can to.

"Jump the gun" would make more sense whereas "jump the boat" makes no sense and "jump the shark" makes sense but in a round-about kind of way which is still debatable. But I digress.

Why do you think we should be restricted to ONLY discussing the next mech's release when we could be discussing the one after? I, for one, will probably never pilot an assault mech. I know there are a lot of recon pilots out there like me who would love to see another light mech revealed. And even if you don't want another light mech specifically... a 13th mech would probably indicate the eventuality of a 14th, 15th, and 16th if PGI wants to keep things balanced.

Not a bad idea.

Though as a "black cat", doesn't the Panther fit the 13th spot better? ;)

I don't like the urban mech either... but Duncan Fisher wants "Urbie the Love Bug" I can't tell him no.

I bit to early for Mech 13 speculation but I would say Either Panther or Wolfhound but seeing as to how the Devs keep surprising us with Mech never before used, my 3rd choice will be Mongoose.

13 happens to be my number of choice so I hope it's NOT the Urbanmech. It's one of the few mechs I never used. . . . In any version of Battletech/Mechwarrior.

Im no gunna lie. when you said unlucky #13.... it made so much sense to me that it could be the urban mech lol.
I actually wouldnt have a problem with it. Every game has to have "that guy". in MWO it would be the urban mech pilot who jumps out nowhere and headshots you and makes you rage quit hahaha

12 is the last number before public CBT & should be the last
When game goes live, new mechs will have to arrive in patches, so would be better to release them in groups (i.e. +1 mech to every category) at once

No, no, noes...
Urbanmech is not a light mech.
Urbanmech is an assault mech that somewhat lacks, armour, firepower and weight. But it has a very adequate speed and mobility for its class... assault.

The intended role for the assault Urbanmech is to backstab Atlas scout mechs.
Thank you ! ;)

Ya that's like a year wait until clan invasion.

Better start doing illegal stimulants to keep you up.
