Generally speaking, not all WoL are proper Goons from the SA (Something Awful) community.

You will know when you run into a proper Goon who can shoot straight while talking Sqwack.

I did look at your profile? Might be! I looked at a lot of profiles in my past 14 months on this board. I don't remember most of them though.

I don't care if someone is a goon or not. I'm trying to be as impartial as possible. I'm not affiliated with any known organized group on these servers. I didn't know of Goons or KAOS or any other group before coming to MWO and I don't care about their past. Only the present is what I judge, on a case by case observation.

Psssh the only matches I lose are when I'm farming XP. When I play for reals I win all the time, every time.

I exclusively pilot Cicadas and Dragons :whatup: But, I've been playing for a while, and we have well over 1,000 registered mech pilots*, some of whom are quite new and have never played a mech game.

Some of those thousand-plus members pilot suboptimal Catapult, or even Atlas builds; and some of our newbirds can't even afford a ferro-endo Raven yet. Sometimes you'll run into these folks.

And sometimes everybody's sloshed although that helps sometimes


*We actually have over 1,300, since I was curious and just checked the actual number, plus some nontrivial number of non-goons who drop with us.

It would appear that the current iteration of "Squawk-to-Talk"^™ software has some significant bugs. (You change one unrelated thing, and the whole program breaks!)
