Im aware PGI said, all is set now since OB started, nothing will be reset anymore.

But i think when we have ELO system online one day, or somthing like that or new MM phase with separating pugs from premades finaly maybe, it would be good idea to completely reset STATS, cause a lot have statpadded KDr and all this ****, or completely remove it, hide it from player (also from web).... also good way.

what do you think ?

this isnt COD, any stats are not needed to be visible/stat padded...

Click Profile then click Stats and you can see your game stats, Stats is in the second or third line of options from the top of the page

yes, still visible for the player alone on the web = a motivation for some to stat padding..... you know.

ELO doesn't separate pugs from premades, it separates bad players from good players.

Remove stats, stats people will be upset. Keep stats, people who dislike stats are upset. No win.

true. then the best would be completely hide it from players , also from web as it is now. This will remove all statpadders.

I will actually vote on this one. Keep the stats for the ones who care. The ones who don't can simply not look at their stats as I would assume that they would be kept on the website as it is now(where only the player themselves can see it).

I never cared for stats, i care for fun.
When i take a Game so serious that i care for stats, then it's aint a Game.

So let them Hidden, may the Alt+F4 Folks post them to prove their Awesomeness,
i have seen enough of the Folks posting them here in the Forum crashing just in Chance their
Client when the Missles were just to hit.

With Elo on every KDR over 2 means that you are Godlike... or an ALT+F4 quitter...

Maybe some of the Stats men wouldn't want to have stats be published too as lot of people will laugh at them
when they saw them once Crash their Client...

Best had been when i saw a ALT+F4 Stats Pusher Just crash his Client when his Atlas was halfed by the last deadly crippled Hunchback, he only needed one or two hits from his remaining Med-Laser but he choosed to kill his client and his Mech kept on turning on the place. I even taunted him before... ( I was dead)
It was something like a safety dance the Atlas made..

Maybe PGI can make a mid-game (after 9-0 countdown) disconnect = a death. Then people couldn't pad their stats by disconnecting right before they die because they'd still get a death counted to their K/D ratio.

That is the thing, stats aren't public so if you don't like them just don't look at yours. No reason to take them away from the people who do like to see them. I liked to see mine until I started skilling a couple mechs I don't like :)

You know Alt+F4 still counts a death on you, it just doesnt rack up a kill for the person who killed you right? :)

actually what i'd like to see is stats by chassis. that way for folk with multiple mechs you can get an idea of what your best mechs are. that way if you're 100W/150L you may think yo're doing bad but if you find out that you're 3W/30L in your joke mech, 10W/30L in that third mech you're grinding just for unlocks and 10W/25L in that other weight class mech you decided to try to see if it suits you better and suddenly you find you're only 77W/75L in your main two mechs (assuming only 5 mechs) and maybe you're not as bad as you thought.

of course all the stats showing now (xp,cbills, k/d) would be listed per mech as well so you discover that mech varient #1 is the winningest one but mech varient #2 is your killing machine. that way goof around/experimental time doesn;t completely throw off your overall numbers (though overall should be kept as well).

i know when i first started i was all "light mechs yeah i'm gonna be super scout!" then after dying horribly repeatedly because i can;t get used to the speed and fighting style i messed around with assaults and heavies before settling in with my hunchies (though i think trebuchet is going to be my favorite when it arrives) but took a while to see my numbers change any because of all the horrible work i did with my lights.

but either way i'm still in on the "keep stats but keep them hidden" side of the arguement. that way when i'm 1W/100L with a K/D of .0000001 in my urbie my numbers aren;t ruined for life. :)

I'm ok with them showing up, especially when it includes a section for suicides. And you know why.

Ahh, that would be awesome. I would go with the only visible stat is suicides. Well, not the only, would need games played as well. But still, that would be pretty funny.

It's not like you can go into a match and look at the stats of everyone on your team and who you are playing against. So who really cares?

For those that cant stand looking at the suckness of their own stats, I would say to go back to breastfeeding.

For those that have to post how awesome their stats are, I would say that your parents didnt spank you enough.

Bottom line, give me more stats. Hell, I didnt even know there WERE stats before reading this...

Tanar, not bad idead with the chassis, could be interesting if implemented good.
But id like to see it completely hidden if i can choose anyway...

I think it is gonna be hilarious when these stat padders get into matches with the elo mm. They will get stomped until they migrate to their actual level.
Stats will be public for all at launch. Not digging up the source on that because i am on my phone.
