Posting just to post and increase your post count does NOTHING to get you into Closed Beta, and is disrespectful to the Admins / Moderators, and fellow posters that have spent some time actually putting thought into their post and deserve to be heard (well you know what I mean).

This is getting aggravating to have to keep having to scim through countless locked or useless post just to get to the meat and potatoes content.

Please pretty please I beg of you to check out some of the alternatives provided to you before hitting post. Every time you post a useless post an Orphan somewhere cries (ok added that for effect, never the less you make me want to cry, now how do you feel making a grown man cry?).

I can appreciate the effort... but even you know... there'll still be tons of threads started between now and a year of sundays from now that are duplicates or could simply be answered by following any one of the links you posted...

ps... fairly new to the forums here, but not a stranger to forums, and ugh... aggravates me as well when a simple "search" or just simply open their eyes and read instead of posting would do it... lol

Great effort, but at this point, even the mods seem to be giving up trying to control the thousands of people who come on, who thing they're somehow THE FIRST PERSON EVAR!!!1ONE! to post about whether you can use a joystick with MWO, or how you get into open beta.

You used to see thread locks from the mods, who'd then point to the appropriate existing forum, but I've been seeing that less lately.

I was going to post this in the MWO general forum, but my moral compass told me best post it here. I was trying to make some head way on some of those posts to kinda help those of us not new to the internet and the mods (a lil bit not a lot since I'm against brown nosing and totally wasn't trying to win favor with them by posting it) but there was just sooo many.

It's getting ridiculous how many stupid posts are going up.

and yet, here in the off topic land it has been relegated to... it'll help something besides post counts? It won't help. It is a video game in which 'Might makes Right' for well over 1/2 the factions in it. That, and everyone is armed. I don't see reason as a feature here. I'm here because it can be shelved @ the end of a long day.
