Saying you got in to Beta is about NDA as saying "Yeah, I did hit that." which is violating what exactly?

So you got in...which means...nothing. As long as you don't talk about the actual Fight Club, you are ok. But if you got into some core mechanics and started blogging about them...then you are giving out proprietary information on how they work before it goes live. Thats would be just as bad as filming yourself in the acting of "hitting that" and then uploading the video...which violates all kinds of rights unless its an adult film that both parties agree to.

Basicly, when someone says breaks down to "tee hee...I got in!" which is just bragging rights on how excited some lucky dudes got into an awesome a Battletech game so they want to inform their buddies. And its not exactly a bad thing, because if you got buddies into a beta test but find a bug, you got more controllable factors to exploit and find that bug without trying to control random dudes that may just want to smash your face in instead.

^^ Every NDA is different, but usually they are not breached by saying you got in. Then again I did not read this one yet

It's a good thing your buddies aren't Friends on your profile... your only Friend is our communal Friend, but if there were 3 other buds on your profile's friends list... then that would have been a rather "unsubtle" paper trail...

I just hope the beta testers really make your game scream out loud so that the Devs can make the final product exactly what YOU, Russ, and your team want it to be for us. I'm playing the MW:LL beta and enjoy that I am contributing somewhere to a MW game so my sadness at not getting an invite is being assuaged. (Not that I would not mind being one of your Beta testers, just sayin'.)
