For the love of god no more night maps please. If I wanted to play on a greenscreen monitor I'd time travel back to the '70s.

And night vision is a headache making joke.

I like the idea of night maps, I just don't like how terribad night vision is in game right now. It would also be nice to see some potential counters to both thermal and (a fixed) nightvision. Flares and thermal blocking smoke generators come to mind.

I love the night map. I want a night version of all the maps. I agree that night vision could use a tweek, though.

I like how thermal helps on Frozen City when there are snowstorms. But being forced to play a whole match in thermal or night vision is kinda painful. I like the idea that the different vision modes can give advantages in certain situations (like maybe a future map may have dark areas, or the upcoming Desert map might have sandstorms) but I don't like playing a whole map with them.

I like the idea of night maps, but I absolutely hate the wave NV is working right now. It needs a lot of work.

Thermal is pretty good on cold maps and ok on others. Overall, its pretty close to where it should be, I think.

I would like to have the ability to have spot lights on mechs.

I would also like the ability to dim the HUD intensity, in addition to dimming the cockpit lights.

the green night vision is very accurate for those who have used NVG's. The thermal vision is also done very well. I like the night maps and the varied visual maps. (I wish the graphics bug which just started would go away on Frozen City though...)

The graphics on the maps are great and I dont have a big complaint. I do wish we had more maps however.

I'm ok with night maps in theory but the night vision is just horrible and thermal for a whole map is strain on my eyes I don't need.

Headlights for the mechs would be a good alternative.

Frozen city night isn't bad, River city night is another story. Not enough light from a moon, or the stars, light from fires is so localized it doesn't even light up the terrain around the fire. It is so dark that you have to play the whole match in thermal vision because night vision doesn't allow you to see more then 100 meters. You get more range out of thermal.

I think night maps would be better if there were areas that are lit up and areas that aren't. So you wouldn't need night vision or thermal everywhere. Maybe like a map with multiple outposts that are lit up around but traveling to each one is in the dark.

?

I've used a couple of different sets of 'green' NVG devices IRL and even the Gen1 stuff was FAR superior to what you get on River City Night. Maybe its something specific to that map.

*edit* for type-O

I like night maps, but the night vision could be made a little crisper and less fuzzy. I hardly use thermal unless I am trying to find targets long ways away.
