Depends largely on the hardpoint layout. If I like the hardpoints, Ill buy it. I like the 9M, but I dont like the hard points.

how does any of this correlate!?!? It's like a you pulled 3 ideas out of a hat and slapped them together. It looks really fkn bad.

You have Hundreds of lore paint jobs to pull from (inner sphere house units, merc units, etc) - what makes you come up with a compilation like this? It looks 130% awful.

edit: and ... nice unskinned lego block on his left arm.. props.

What's more is the varied harpoints look likely to allow for some nice load outs.

And with the head hit boxes seeming to shrink every patch, I feel less and less worry about their "easy" kill factor. Plus, current net code means I ain't worried about those pesky lights anymore!

Despite all the broad consensus that the Awesome is the worst mech out there - it is still one of my favorites.
I use them all (besides the 8Q - I seem unable to find a build that works for me)

So unless the hardpoints are complete crap I am going to get one for sure!!!

Not interested in ANY of the Hero Mechs, as they are absurdly overpriced.

I think the Death's Knell is way too expensive.... do you think I'm going to pay $50 for an Awesome?!?

First step, IGP..... cut all the prices to a quarter of what you are currently charging, especially for the Hero Mechs.
Then, let me play this game offline as long as I want (MP and with freakin' bots if needed) and let me keep all these digital toys so that when your servers go down I still have something to show for my money.

Chisholm's Has no Uniform paint scheme. The Mech is called "Pretty Baby" Nothing said it wasn't sarcastic. Just saying these are legitimate explanations for what you are now complaining about. It is a Historic Heroes Mech and with the exception of it not (presently) having the Chisholm's emblem does not violate any part of Canon.

Hardpoints are going to be pretty fail. Missiles left arm, Energy Right arm. Missiles right torso, energy left torso and head. Both crosshairs with mixed weapon types, no thanks.

So Garth saying the "Awesome" was getting some love is the reason I was told I would have to wait 2 weeks for a duel against an "Awesome 9m" a couple of days ago..?? Was it because there would be a buff that "Someone " was waiting for..?? Please tell me it wasn't this... LOL

I was almost positive that it was waiting for the "LOVE" Garth said the Awesome would get as the reason for the 2 week delay, but I didn't think Garth meant the "Pretty Baby" was the love... Take your time, i'm not going anywhere that I know of yet.

Personally I'd like to see the AWS-9Q released. It is an Awesome with 4 PPCs and ECM. Unfortunately it is not released in canon till 3057. Still would be nice to pilot a prototype which would be the equivalent of a super Warhammer. Also, it is one of the few Inner Sphere Mechs capable of standing up to Clan Mechs.

Is 68.8kph the Stock speed?

If so, that would indicate that the AWS-PB comes with a 340-rated engine stock, and can fit up to an XL400 to move at 89kph.

A speedster of the 9M variety with useful SRM racks could make for an interesting Mech.

Not a fan of the look at all. The design is silly enough that it's almost funny, but it's not quite there - instead it just looks amateurish and cliche.

Combined with the fact that it's an Awesome, definitely a no buy from me. Pity too, I enjoy buying Hero mechs.

I'd say this thing will have 3 missile and 5 energy as the hardpoints with a possible AMS -

2E RA (PPC on stock)
2M RT (LRM15 on stock)
1M LA (SRM4 on stock)
2E LA (LLS on stock)
1E H (MLS on stock)

For a total of 61 firepower and a sustained DPS of atleast 7.5+ given the large heat efficiency. An XL340 should power it with atleast 20 DHS and 360LRM's and 100 SRM's.

Cost around 6k MC, so $27 or like £20 (for me)

And with that shocking paint scheme would you buy one? ... I wouldn't !

sounds about right

basically a superior 9M in every way (potentially faster, doesn't have a ridiculous 4 hardpoints in the CT)
