Hello Foxes, Just a question, I've been looking at the site for a few weeks, I'm interested in joining up for some good teamplay. my only concern is that I'm in a fairly intensive academic program, and may need to disappear for extended periods around exams and the like, is that a concern for the foxes? I don't want to sign up and take a spot of a willing teammate if this is an issue or anything. :P

To add to Darwin's response, we have a "Reserves" status for those who need to disappear for a few weeks. If I'm not mistaken, members on Reserves can actually still participate in club events and even earn the ribbons for them (did anyone mention WE HAVE RIBBONS for events?). It's not as if we have only a limited number of slots.

In other ways, we have plenty of ways to accomodate. Just stay in touch somehow and we'll get you figured out. :P

Would love to have ya.

Quick reminder to all new pilots: be sure to check your email right away. There is a welcome email waiting for you, with instructions on how to navigate our website, set up comms with your lance leader, and receive your first promotion. If you haven't received such an email, post here and it will be taken care of right away.

The Foxes are continuing to build steam, with 68 active members and Teamspeak hopping until late into the night... always looking for more casual players to join this expanding community.

If you want a good group of players to run with, this outfit is it! Lots of good advice, and fun matches are to be had with the Golden Foxes. We like to have fun, and try our best to win, but we're generally not an uptight bunch, so check us out, if that sounds like your kind of group.

Also worth noting, FOX is currently dropping in groups at this very moment (We organize multiple group events during the week!)

Our current schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8pm EST, Friday at 2pm EST, and Sunday at 6pm EST. We're also talking about adding another drop night on Fridays at 9pm EST. However, all of our events are optional and we're not going to hold you to a schedule, we're a pretty mellow bunch.

Aside from these times, we have Foxes from all over the world in our ranks and chances are some of us will be playing when you are, so give us a look! We appreciate it!

Cheers,
Paladine

FOX has just opened a fourth company named Delta and a brand-new set of officers to lead it. We're now over 80 members!

I read up on what you guys are all about and it sounds like a great fit for me. Then of course by name it seems appropriate. :3 So I signed up and set about filling in my profile info.

I'm an AC specialist. I pilot a Cataphract 4X with two AC5's and two AC2's.

Plan to switch to Jaggermech if I can pull off the same build. They're infamous for ACs and them being mounted so high up will help a lot, hill's tend to block my shot a lot in the Cataphract.

Have been trending to usually do the most damage and kills in pug matches lately, not always though. High score of damage was 1180. Lately my highest damages have been in the 750 area. A more average score is around 500.

well well, a davion-centered friendly/casual group that plays as teams and has a structure?

i think my days of running as a lone gun for hire might be over...

are there many members on the west coast, or any groups with a slot or two open over there?

Yes, we have a few PST people, a bunch of CST people, and a good number of Europeans to go with nearly half of us being EST. We have people from all over and many of us play at all hours and chances are people will be playing when you are =D

I only get to play Mwo maybe 2-3 times a week due to work, would I still be eligible to join? The idea you're a more casual group has me interested I'm just a little worried my schedule with work would interfere is all.

Absolutely. Some of our members are only able to play once a week, some once every other week. Definitely there are plenty who are more active than that, but we welcome people with more hectic schedules too.

If you can still take time to visit the forums every once in a while to make yourself known and say hi, you'll be just fine.

Yes, absolutely. We have players on every day, so you're likely to find some Foxes at the times you're free. Additionally, many of us are working adults and we understand that life doesn't allow us to play 40 hours a week. We're not going to throw you out because you only play 2 or 3 times a week =D
