I have noticed some visual issues with River City. Mainly that the buildings do not load properly and look like a jagged mess that are partially transparent.

Also the main menu screen is giving the wrong information. Saying I am staff instead of a mercenary. Per this thread, which is probably one of many.

I'll update this post as I play more.

The same 4 maps with night versions is getting really old. As is the same game modes.


Alpine Peaks as well the Trebuchet mech is coming out in the next patch (2 weeks from now).

Developers have any place grow from hands? I played with your fake and the game remains one negative. I will recommend to all and to all the resources do not play that ****. I hope that your project is going to die soon, and forget about it. It is impossible to play this ****.
The maximum that you have two weeks were able to do is to change the colors of the game.

UPDATED ! ! ! ! ! !

1.) First my flag changed in game home page my Rasalhague flag to Marik.

2.) Targeting is on a wrong place. Targeting box apears in a random place on the map. I would love to see this as an ecm feature ^_^ but i dont think others share the same opinion.

3.) mechs dont collapse after dead blocking the way from shooting

4.) Cry engine Critical error and FPS drop to 3 or 6 in heavy fight
got used to the color but chat not readable.

5.) impossible to read team chat with new color and when im pressing "Y" for chat its dont make the background dark enough sadly its not the right color for the chat. Check it in rivet city against the sky.

6.) still missing textures from frozen city. Hard to navigate

7.) sometimes when i press to spectator mode Betty start talking. reactor on line weapons online all system ...
oh and after death crosshair start spinning and doing crazzy stuff.

8.) lots of freezes Critical Desktop


9.) no valentines day cockpit items ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! i think its a bug! You losing MCs! ! ! ! !
1 missing color MAGENTA Bright pink 4 the hello Kitty fans like my girl friend :(

thx for your good work. im happy that lrms not silenceing my game any more and im not dieing from overheat.
And i started to collect the new colors to support u guys. Cant wait for the new map keep up the good work thx bey

Overall, the new patch is very good. The thing that bother me the most is the Text Colors.. I can not see anything on mini map n on the screen when typing.. the Old Green and Red color on mini map works fine and there is no need to change it.

10.) Backspace only deletes a single character now, even if you hold it. Severely impacts in-game communication, as correcting a sentence (either due to grammar or because the info is out of date) now takes a lot more time.

Also, the game now claims I have joined House Davion. /seppuku

Furthermore, I would like if there was an option to customize UI colors, but there is already a thread on that issue here.

11.) Looking through Advanced Zoom will make your locks flicker and will slide away from your actual target

12.) Happened to me that when I pilot a faster mech (mostly lights or mediums) and I press c (center torso) it doesn't run a straight line as soon as the torso did center...mostly the mech slides a bit to the left or the right

Whatever you do, DON'T TOUCH THE PPCs anymore. They're finally perfect! They finally feel like good old times, it's a damn good feeling watching my heat fly up, and my enemies fly down. Everything about this patch is lovely!

NEW ingame BLUE color
the turquoise is unreadable on mini-map and on mech overhead ingame info ...turquoise on grey is not a good combination!

RED color TARGET was better in old patch.

Game Performance seems to be in the same range as last week though i had a good improvement from switching to the Catalyst 13.2 beta 4 driver for my ATI card.

Good stuff:
The Mechlab seems to be a bit more colourfull.
The new Scoreboard/EOR Screen.
The JJ adjustments (but why do you have reduced the jumprange of Mechs i.e. from ~41m to ~25m ?)
The weapon adjustments seem to work well.
The stability was good in all matches - no obvious bugs, almost no crashes (only 1 crash after the very first EOR screen but rockstable since then).

I feel its a good patch :(

PS: The new IFF colours have a better contrast to the background that the old ones.

Favorite patch so far.
When I tried the new jump jet mechanics in my jump tag cat I came in my pants - they are much better for jump tags, and now jumping over a building as an evasion tactic actually works - pre-patch you would be thrusting way before you got to the building, your opponent could pre-empt and run around the building before you even got over it.

Good patch PGI. I've noticed a big improvement on FPS so i can now run higher graphic settings without any major problems. The new Pre-match and end game screens are a very welcome addition to the game, but i think you should bring back the kill count mid game. i've noticed a few graphic glitches on a few maps here and there, but i'm not complaining really.

I've only played 10 games so far since the patch, however for now, i'm very happy with how this game is developing :(

Death Screen

- Show mech status at time of death( paperdoll )
- Combat log, shows last 8 combat events ( damage, loss of component / equipment )
- Show cause of death + what/whom killed you ( player / overheating / falling )
- Chat enabled

End of Round Screen

- Chat enabled
- Tabbed screens showing players information and players results ( kills, cbills + exp )
- Match score will be displayed for all players:
- Match Score is an early ranking system for the End of Round screen only. This number will be later worked into or made part of Combat Score which will be your global ranking. For now it's just a handy way to rank players in a match. It is subject to tuning in the near future.

So many times have I wanted this option available, and I was literally just last night thinking of putting this in the suggestions thread! Thank you.

13. I get a false message about heat override being engaged after firing, but I never hit the override button and I was no where near over heating. I actually had it flashing on screen while heat was 0%, but I lost the screen shot.

14. No red target boxes or team triangles floating above mechs, no info about mechs when aiming at them (friend or foe). Mini map triangles and compass dots were still in tact, which helped a little with not committing friendly fire!

15. When #14 wasn't an issue the info boxes that pop up when you point at a friendly mech were hard to read due to the color combination. That blue and gray do not play nice.

16. Drop in FPS from 40+ to around 20 FPS in all maps post patch. Will re install and see if fixes issue (again)
