Sigh... You used contractions.

Here I though we had a genuine Clan Warrior caste and it's some Freebirth scum or some Bondsman... ^_^

LOL this is not zellbrigen. Zellbrigen relates to honourable combat. What was discribed poorly, I may add, is called batchall. Furthermore a batchall is not about one upmanship; rather a formal bid by a commander of the lowest reasonable force to defeat the enemy.

That isn't zellbrigen, zellbrigen is when 2 mechs duel one another while 5 tanks and a trinary of elementals on each side try to dominate the others dueling mech, you know just a normal fair mech on mech duel.

Gotta love non warriors ^_^

Some people are more hardcore fictional warriors than others...who knew?

I myself am a proud Zulu warrior, representing my people in the 31st century and bringing honor to my continent as a member of the first and only African Clan.

Your numbers are wrong...the IS uses 12 mechs and the Clan 15 per Company.

Clans don't use companies for their military structure......

Did OP get anything right?
I don't think OP did.

And that's what we should expect if they were to add anything like this to the game.

Actually that is pretty much how the bidding process goes. Maybe not quite with the same vocabulary, but he is doing it like the Clans of MWO will :D

Joke all you want, but one would imagine an armless Urbanmech IIC would be absolutely devastating - if fired out of a Naval Gauss Rifle, quiaff?

What I meant is in zellbrigen battle armor and tanks can interfere in non formal 1 on 1 duels, which is silly.. It's technically fair for 1 mech to duel another even with 10 tanks and 50 battle armor ganging up on one of the combatants.. Because the tanks and BA are considered non warriors...

Basically in tabletop it's awesome to bring tanks and BA because of this if fighting with zellbrigen in place.. Specially when those tanks are heimdalls Carnivors Athena's and Mars..

Close. Only tanks have this ability. Battle Armour are considered 'true' Warriors and as such cannot interfere in a duel. A MechWarrior may deny a Elemental point the honour of a duel if there is another MechWarrior combatant. Elementals may not interfere in a duel, and it is still VERY looked down upon for a armor crew to fire upon Mechs fighting a duel.

15 clan 'mechs is a Trinary, not a Company. 1=Point, 5=Star, 10=Binary, 15=Trinary, 30-75 (2-5 Trinaries)=Cluster, 90-375 (3-5 Clusters)=Galaxy

edit for terrible grammar

Nah I got you. But the clans aren't here yet. So I used the IS organizational term.
