My first post, and first book excerpt is up. When I created Guy, I asked sparks if he was okay with the format and he approved. So I'll be doing a fair amount of double posting.

Also, I did God Mode Voodoo (nomads character) but I had his permission and we worked on the scene together, so any praise (or complaints) should be directed at him. ^^

Intro post for Dirk up, sorry for the wait. Had some stuff to attend over the weekend and it completely drained my writing ability. Like usual though, the solution was loud music, over tiredness, and the measured application of alcohol. Hope you guys enjoy it!
You will note that Dirk has picked up a clan bondsman (Already!) but that's GM's orders. So please for the love of all things fun to read, don't everyone start snagging them up!
Personally I think Sparks just wants to see Dirk try to handle having a space marine as a pet
EDIT: To clarify, when I said post up, what I meant was 'I thought I pressed the button but I missed.'

I'm also thinking of updating my char bio to include a blurb about each of my henchman's personality/background so if someone runs into one they can be RP'd by them without me going hey no at some point. lol

I don't see many scenarios where the pilot Listless left behind, does well.

i had an idea for that, have him find a savannah master that an elemental caught with its pants down, aka the pilot was taking a leak or such. then spend the rest of the escape from behind clan lines being chased by a fire moth, nearly get killed by it, then have masc finally takes its toll and it faceplants. include things about barely missing stuff because said mechwarrior has issues piloting a high speed hovercraft.

(note fire moth + masc goes at 216 kph, the same speed as a savannah master. in fact it is the only clan mech i know of that can go that fast.)

P.S. if you feel like, why would an elemental leave an intact hovercraft around a battlefield, you can say something about he couldn't find it due to tiny and camouflage or it just didn't think it was a threat and went after more honorable targets.

Hey Dal, I just got the craziest idea ever, I could be the elemental that Dirk just captured. The problem is, that I know within a few seconds of me RPing him, Rogue will come up with an IC way for me to die, and I couldn't do anything about it... ehhh.... back to the drawing board.
