I'd like to be wrong, but honestly I can't see any excuse for there being no updates.

That's not relevant.
A screenshot can potentially give us the scale of the Mech, can show that the Mech is actually done/close to being done, etc.
It's content, in a content starved game, anything tangible like this is good. Simply failing to understand how to pad content out across many weeks is a massive weakness of PGI's that is almost sad.

I seriously hope not. Releasing the Spider before the TBT was bad enough, but another delay without some sort of prior communication would be very disappointing. Getting pretty bored waiting for them to finally release another mech I'm actually interested in driving!

I'm still skeptical.
if we can follow trend from centurion. it will get massive shoulder treatment. to avoid clipping (there is tons of clipping already, why the vein effort)
they reduced the cataphract's torso arm twist. but there is still large amount of clipping when the cataphract is turning.

When I try to aim my prachts arms it makes me feel like I have short and stubby arms on a mech with a 60 foot gut that it cant reach over. Still love the mech though. I Have been saving up for the trenchbucket, if it does not happen on tuesday I will be a sad pracht, but I do kind of fear patches , scared of what will break next....no offence IGP.
EDIT: User made maps IGP, user made maps now!
