Game Types And Map Selection.

Ok, so here is my idea to address the fact that we cant always drop on the map we want. Obviously its not up to me is up to PGI but let me know if you think this is resonable.

We need more game types first of all. I like the two we have but it would not take much to increase the variety a bit.

For example the 'King of the Hill" game. Yup put one base in the middle of the caldera and the first team that gets up there and captures it and then holds it for say....2 or 3 minutes wins. Obviously if you destroy the other team you win.

Next game type is "Attack/Defend" This would be good for Apine or River city. One team gets randomly assigned to defend one of the starting bases and the other team has to come in and either destroy the other team or capture the base. Realistic objectives and would change up our tactics a bit, make people think about how to defend and how to assault.

Ok So thats 4 total game types:

Assault
Resource Capture
Attack/Defend
King of the hilll

And we have these maps:

Forest Colony
Frozen City
Snowy Forest Colony
Caustic Valley
River City
Alpine Peaks

So we limit the maps to certain types of game types so that if you want to play alpine more select attack and defend.... like this:


Forest Colony Assault/Resource games
Frozen City King of the hill(take and hold dropship)/assault/resource games
Snowy Forest Colony Assault/resource games
Caustic Valley King of the hill (take and hold caldera)/assault/resource games
River City Assault/Attack and defend(andomly assign base area for defense and
randomly assign defenders and attackers.)
Alpine Peaks Assault/Attack and defend (randomly assign base area for defense and randomly assign
defenders and attackers.)

You could add some back stories too. Dropship has somthing on it that is valuable and crashed on frozen planet. Retrive valuable (lostech, person, etc....)

Same with River city. One team needs to take out cargo ship for some reason, or take out the dropship for another....

As we get into more comunity war fare I would like to see objectives like these put in to place. What does stiner need to do to hold this planet. Defend thier thier River City landing zone of course. What does Lao need to do to keep this planet. Defend the ammo being shiped on the freighter in River City.

Ok Just my idea... anyone else got one? would love to hear it.

more game modes are, of course, going to be necessary for this game. I like where you're going with this, suiting different maps to different modes.
