Hot-Fix Scheduled For July 8Th At 10Am Pdt

Greetings MechWarriors,
We will be rolling out a hot-fix on Wednesday July 8th, tentatively scheduled for 10:00 AM PDT (5:00PM UTC), with the following changes:
Awesome (all variants)
  • Fixing an issue with the Center Torso hit-box
Centurion CN9-AH Reward 'Mech
  • Fixing a texture issue with the Left Arm shield
Centurion (all variants)
  • Fixing a glossy texture issue with the default pattern
Catapult (all variants)
  • Fixing a glossy texture issue with the default pattern
Cicada (all variants)
  • Fixing a glossy texture issue with the default pattern
Executioner (all variants)
  • Fixing an issue with Standing Cockpit Items not appearing correctly
The estimated downtime required for this hot-fix will be approximately 30 minutes.
When services are restored you will be required to apply a small patch.

Please note that the texture issue was not limited to the centurion's shield, but also its head fin

how bout putting TURRETS back in assault, to deter SIMPLE base rushes....

its ridiculous now..!

Would be nice to have a hotfix to enable Gargoyle camos outside of the ones provided when buying the pack.

Fin is also fixed.

Can we get a hot-fix to roll back the Visual Customizations until they're done right, with quality. I normally white-knight the heck out of you people, but the stuff we just got for today's patch is just shoddy and slapped on. It's terribly disappointing.

No. God no. Base turrets needed to be removed. It was stupid on maps like mining collective and caustic valley where you could only use half the map or else get bombarded by the turrets.

People need to be able to adapt and learn to defend against base rushes. Not have a stupid AI warn them.

Can you please make the Cicada 3m right torso energy hard point match the location of the left torso like it used too its become really low for some reason. It nerfs the mech an makes it look silly.

how about make the turrets fit the map..on small maps...short ranged...on bigger maps...longer ranged. cap rushes are annoying since we play this game to fight other mechs not run around maps for caps...

Thats why there is a skirmish mode. Pirimary objective in assault mode is the base.

I will push the line here...
Upgrade them to Calliopes! Force tactical movement! Get rid of base camping! Create a defensive grid that can defend itsself!

I think turrets in assault mode could use LPL - short but powerful. And no missile towers on small-med map.

Its funny that the only time the awesome was actually balanced with the other mechs was when it was broken. It makes me a bit sad to see it fixed :P

Uncheck Assault.

It needs work, but turrets were and are definitely not the answer. Just made the game Skirmish with less of the map

**** man, you are going to make that awesome hard as hell to kill again ? I thought this hit-reg fix fixed that, why do awesomes dragons and stalkers have them mega quirks? if you don't want people to play clan mechs why did you make them?

People could also learn turrets capabilities and deal with these

The map of River City needs the turrentes to have new tactics. in small non chart required. The AWS design the cannon of ppc and logical to be a little out, so the heat dissipate faster but do not know if it is possible for the work. 8Q 9m in the model srm needs some adjustments. The shooting V and good their position and that strange only that this and 8Q. in 9M arm the misil spend the limitation of 2 to 6 or 20 s strange but good center has to be corrected and only better but it was more logical to think where we put the hit points more military thinking. Strength. ;)

15 Assault games till now - NOBODY cares for bases. Assault is now Skirmish 2 with reduced income (no turret-kill reward). Wild guess, some *PRO* whale was killed by turrets so he demanded their removal.

Screw tactic, play it Leeroy Jenkins style. And keep screaming to others: Adapt !!!

Edit: so some people translate Assault as Base Defense mode?
