Greetings MechWarriors,

A Hot-Fix is scheduled to occur Monday, August 13th at 2:00PM PST (21:00 UTC), to address a possible fix where sometimes the HUD displays inaccurate information regarding Conquest Capture point status.

For me it sounds like it is about, the Battlegrid shows one cap point is blue, but your HUD for this cap point is not blue, but neutral instead. And vice versa.

No...the complete hud vanish is a different error.

Just wondering while you are at it could you record someone to say enemy have ECM disruption instead of enemy have arty? It would only take like 30 seconds and if you fix a small stupid every now and again you would be amazed how quick they get fixed.

Please note - there will also be an update to the MWO Portal before/during the hotfix. This update fixes a minor issue with the desktop icon.

You'll need to post full details, either as a separate Bug Report thread or as a post to this thread. I'm running Eset's NOD32 AntiVirus here, and not encountering such an issue. It's very likely that you've encountered a 'False Positive' situation with your Avast AntiVirus.

Thanks for the heads-up. Got some other things going on here right now, but I'll patch that as soon as I'm safely able.

Adaware Antivirus also blocks the installation but with no warning and the installer just hangs for a minute or so then just closes itself and that's it, no warnings/errors/messages/event-log-files or anything at all.
Stopping Adaware Antivirus is the only way to install/patch MWO and it been like this ever since I started using this new portal patcher last year (about 2 months before it was made mandatory).

Although I've seen this same problem with one another old cryengine game, although I've finally walked away from it after years of playing but only during the past year so will only mention it by initials EU (formerly PE) by MA.

Thanks for the hotfix.. it hit just at the about the only time of the day I had the chance to play my accounts.. so I could not.. no 400 MC and cockpit items for me.. :/

The downtime was about 15 Minutes at best...

And again: After the update I cant Login anymore with the "mwo servers undergoing maintenance" Error.

Are you using the standalone or Steam launchpad? Run Integrity Check or Repair Tool.

Reboot computer, router and modem. Check firewall settings.

Now I´m using Steam.....the last time that happened I´ve runned the Stand Alone and downloadet the Steam Version....nothing helped.
