The Ghost Regiments tend to be made up of dishonorable scum, . I am loyal to the Coordinator, and do not question his son's decisions either. However in this relatively peacful era post war of 3039, I think it would be best if the Ghost Regiments were disbanded, their mechs distributed to the better Regiments in the DCMS.

I understand the reason for their creation, in 3039 we were fighting for our very existence, the FedCom wanted to castrate us like they did with the Capellans, however we more than bloodied their nose, and I think the military should be made up of those who are more dedicated to the way of an honorable warrior.

It is inevitable that units with ties to the underground, to yakuza, and lower castes will prey on members of the other four pillars of our society who we should be protecting.

They used to say that about the Genyosha, Ryuken, and Legion of Vega regiments as well. Yet those regiments proved themselves better then most of the DCMS.

This is why the Combine really needs to crack down on their so-called 'Ronin' Mechwarriors. A lone, crazy pilot with a powerful war machine is a recipe for disaster. Mechs belong firmly in control of a proper military, answerable to their government.

This is one of the drawbacks to allowing yakuza to field Battlemech units. But reports of such incidents are rare, after all. The Combine's gangsters may be "criminal scum", but they are remarkably disciplined criminal scum for all that.

These individual pilots are becoming an increasing source of renegade violence. I agree with the statement earlier that the Pilots of these mechs should be answerable to a proper military authority.
