Just bought IS Platinum Collection!
Actually started achieving the Platinum Collection Event without even knowing it

Just some feedback, asking to do 5000 damage for Jenner JR7-F(P) & 5000 damage for JR7-IIC(P) might be a tad on the higher side of the damage scale...

And thank you for this surprise Platinum Collection Event!

My favorite mechs:
Hunchback HBK-4P(P) ==> from Steam Mech Performance Pack
Catapult CPLT-K2(P) ==> similar to the one from MW5 Pre-order (but I still want the other 4 models**!)
Atlas AS7-D-DC(P) ==> I've always wanted a +30% CBills bonus variant!!

Note: ** The MW5 Pre-order special variants that I also want are: KGC-001(S), MAD-9M(S), WHM-9D(S), CPLT-C2(S)

Instead of picking us 4 variants that we probably wont use. How about make it a mix and match type deal where we pick the 4 variants as an individual and you guys slap the P + with a resprayed platinum clan jade falcon camo?

MWO really has been reading the forum for feedback!

I was the one who suggested "Platinum mechs" at a more reasonable price point, and never to mention "Gold mech" again because of its US$500 tainted reputation. And that's exactly what MWO did!

Time to put my put my money where my mouth is...got both the IS & Clan Platinum Collection 01 packs:

~US$20 for 4x Special Variants with +30% CBills bonus
~4x unlocked Platinum camo that you can apply for all variants in all 4 chassis (even my Founder mechs!)
~You also get total +10% CBills hanging/standing items, *and* total +10% XP hanging/standing items, if you complete this time limited 35-day Event.

An extremely good deal for US$20 if you ask me!

I like the Platinum collection, both IS and Clan, so cool for that.

Having to get 20 000 damage for the full rewards, per Platinum pack, on this event is excessive though.

I *was* actually seriously considering getting both the IS and Clan packs (bought the clan), but having to earn 40 000 damage with both packs to earn all rewards in basically a month (including the very high 5 000 damage with lights) is not reasonable.

And honestly, I'm not into buying a mech pack that I won't be able to get all the event rewards on, so having the high reward bracket is actually a disincentive to buying both mech packs.

Maybe reconsider the reward system on this event?

Just found out:
You can also add color to this metallic paintjob:

Gold Atlas = Jade Falcon Gold + Platinum Camo !
Platinum Atlas = Titanium White + Platinum Camo !
Gunmetal Grey Atlas = Obsidian Black + Platinum Camo !

By the way, my Gold Atlas AS7-D-DC(P) has not been shot by fellow team members (yet)!

IS actually only requires 12500. 2500 for each except the Atlas which is 5000.

PGI look... I like You guys... I do. I've spent MANY happy hours on MWO, which I still feel is a great game. You guys gave us MechWarrior 5... which... you know... eventually became a good game to play... eventually. Now, Platinum Mechs... look... I'm not spending $20 US on them... no. I already own the IS Mechs mostly, so I don't need Platinum ones... right? I'll NEVER spend $20 on Clanner crap... in fact, all My Clanner Mechs I have are from FREE events, I don't buy Clanner *****...

Now, If you guys gave Me a Crusader, Razorback, Pillager, and idk Clint or Starslayer pack, I'd drop $20 on it today... hell, I'd drop $40 on it! New Chassis' hell yeah... THAT is what we want. Hell, I'd drop $20 on a Map Pack even lol. The different Variants of existing Mechs is not going to do it for Me... Not buying that. Not for cash. NEW CHASSIS' guys... NEW...

Considering the time you have for the Event it's like 1000 of damage per day...
