Unfortunately we don't have a Thumper in MWO but you can bet when the Bullshark Challenge event happens you will have the opportunity to earn Arty Strikes in bulk!

As a side note…I’ve never been able to figure out why PGI won’t give Ultimate Pack discounts. Marketing 101 - you give Bundle discounts to upsell your products.…incentivize, incentivize, incentivize

If I understood correctly, it's originally a clan battlemech, but there are retrofitted IS models.
That being said, it's all apocryphal, since the mech was created for HBS's Battletech and PGI apparently created their own variants.
