The year is 3050, and the Inner Sphere is under siege. The Clans have returned. Seeing how this new timeline is expanding to 3050 to 3057, these are the events that transpire:

3050

• IS Standard Battle Armor is produced by the Federated Commonwealth from captured Elemental Battle Armor.
  
• Turtle Bay bombarded by Clan Smoke Jaguar after failing to recapture Hohiro Kurita. This relieves Galaxy Commander, Cordera Perez of his command.
  
• The Battle of Wolcott against Clan Smoke Jaguar begins, in which Hohiro Kurita emerges victorious, taking a handful Clan OmniMechs and Elemental Battle Armor in the process. Perez's successor, Dietr Osis is killed in the aftermath.
  
• The Gray Death Legion become the first Mercenary Unit to defeat a Clan. Specifically, Clan Jade Falcon on the world of Pandora.
  
• Kai Allard-Liao and Victor Steiner-Davion defeats Clan Jade Falcon in the Battle of Twycross.

3051

• Ulric Kerensky is elected as ilKhan after the death of Jaguar ilKhan Leo Showers.
  
• Clans Nova Cat, Diamond Shark and Steel Viper are released as reserve clans to assist the Invading Clans.
  
• The Draconis world of Sheliak was handed to Clan Ghost Bear after winning an American Football game as a part of a Trial for the world, in which the Ghost Bears won, 84-3.

3052

• Clan Ghost Bear conquers a large portion of the Free Rasalhague Republic's territory making it their new Clan Occupation Zone, calling it the Ghost Bear Dominion.
  
• Operation Dragonslayer begins
  
• Battle of Tukayyid begins
  
• Operation Scorpion begins shorty after the Battle of Tukayyid, resulting in Myndo Waterly's death.
  
• The Word of Blake is created
  
• The Raptor becomes the first new IS OmniMech created by the Draconis Combine.
  
• Hanse Davion dies from a heart attack, leaving his son, Victor Steiner-Davion in charge of the entire Federated Commonwealth.

3053

• The Wolf's Dragoons' MRBC (Mercenary Review and Bonding Commission) replaces Comstar's MRB (Mercenary Review Board) after the events of Operation Scorpion.

3057

• The Refusal War between Clan Wolf and Clan Jade Falcon starts.
  
• Clan Jade Falcon is victorious, killing Ulric and Natasha Kerensky and leaving Clan Wolf to be fractured into a Crusader camp and an exiled Warden camp.
  
• Operation Guerrero is started by the Free Worlds League after Victor Steiner-Davion covers up Joshua Marik's death from leukemia.
  
• Melissa Steiner-Davion is killed by an assassin, further weakening the power of Federated Commonwealth
  
• Katherine Steiner-Davion seize the opportunity to sunder the Federated Commonwealth by seceding the Lyran half of the Commonwealth and renaming it to the Lyran Alliance.
  
• The Arc-Royal Defense Cordon is founded by Grand Duke Morgan Kell.

I'm curious to see how much lore PGI will add into their news feed for this DLC. If they can't add it all, I'm sure that the modders of YAML and/or MercTech will do it.

I believe they said that on the latest YT video of Hired Steel there was a clue as to where to find the Atlas-2, my guess is whatever planet they're on in the series.

I been watching here for it also, kinda disappointed, but with the big loot box event happening I guess they figured it wasn't necessary. :/
