I suppose it's a bit early for "Bulldog". There was "Guerrero" in 3057. We still has no campaign for Marik or Liao side

Also there was Coventry in 3058.
Since SoK ends in 3052, PGI could jump the story to three years later in 3055 where we would see mechs like the Bushwacker being created along with other IS OmniMechs coming out as the years progress. I can see Operation Guerrero as an optional contract to make up for joining House Davion during the 2nd DLC as a scenario. I'd say that the era extention should go to 3055-3060 to make way for MW6. Going this route also gives PGI a lot of opportunities for stories like Operation Bulldog and Battle of Coventry like you said.
As for the 8th DLC for MW5 Mercs, I can see PGI adding these type of IS Mechs:
BattleMechs:
- Bushwacker (created in 3053, ported over from MWO)
- Gunslinger (Created in 3053 as a show of Unity between the FC and DC, might need more variants if put in MWO)
OmniMechs
Recycled - These are mech that PGI could create with less time using MWO/MW5's assets.
- Black Hawk KU (created in 3055, recycled from the Nova)
- Firestarter Omni (created in 3056, recycled from the Firestarter)
- Blackjack Omni (created in 3057, recycled from the Blackjack)
- Perseus (created in 3058, recycled from the Orion)
- Arctic Fox (created in 3059, recycled from the Kit Fox)
While I'm not expecting a full makeover, I do hope PGI slightly modifies them to look somewhat different. However, whether PGI's art team will give it the "Black Hawk KU" treatment or "pull a Gauntlet" remains to be seen.
Draconis Combine Originals - These are original Mechs PGI can make. Some of them could be half-bashed with pre-existing assets.
- Raptor (created in 3052)
- Avatar (created in 3056, made from Mad Dog parts)
- Sunder (created in 3056, made from Summoner and Hellbringer parts)
Besides, it's time that the IS get more Omnis aside from the Black Hawk KU and Gauntlet.
