Mon. Jan 16, 3049: Liao Warrior Houses simultaneously celebrated 185 years of defending the Capellan Confederation.

A "simultaneous celebration" by a bunch of Liao warrior houses, how has one to picture that scenario? Like a number of buddhist monks bowing a hundred times in front of the coordinator's picture? Or a public display of self-flagellation?

Ah, no, wait. It is a celebration of "defending the CC". Likely they'll just throw rotten fruit and rice cakes at pictures of Davion and Steiner celebrities. And a few Marik ones as well, when nobody is looking.

Why should they bow before a Kurita?

The Warrior Houses where instrumental in the defense of the Confederation during the Andurien-Canopian invasion. And for the record: Neither Marik nor Davion were able to fully destroy any of the Warrior Houses.

Well the Capellan Confederation still exists, so...yeah actually it is successfully defending. The Davion Prince's bloodthirsty armies vastly outnumber the Capellan's. A member of the Capellan Warrior houses fought alongside our forces during a military exchange program. He fought in a mech called the Cataphract, which I am not very familiar with. .The man was brave, and amiable. He died during a lran border sweep when his ammo went off, before that happened he managed to take out a Zeus and leg a Commando.

To those in the DCMF payign credit to Hanse Davion's unprovoked sneak attack that started the 4th Succession War, I find this highly distasteful.

Hanse Davion is a greedy scuimbag whose action resulted in the deaths of hundreds of millions of innocent civilians.

Well they got their own right to celebrate. The Warrior House are the personal armies of the Chancellor and not the state. So in a propaganda sense, it is just another way of showing off that the Citizen need to serve the Chancellor in order to serve the state.

@Verybad, I agree House Davion is taking a cheap shot at the Confederation. They can go after the Free World League or the Draconis Combine, but instead they went for House Liao. Just becasue they happen to be in possession of Terra, which the combine Family need to link up the two Great House. Also Prince Hanse use the wedding to distract and the Chancellor while the Davion army is already launch to invade the day before the wedding.
