Very important clarification needed here.

The announcement says that July 17th is when Founders get into Closed Beta. All well and good. The question that is NOT answered however is this: Will there be a character wipe after Closed Beta and before release?

CLARIFICATION: From the concept art in another thread, it appears there are 4 Operation Inception mechs. Do we get to choose one of these 4 for the $60 Elite Package?

Is it randomly assigned, like a lottery? Or is there simply one mech, no choice? I'm rather interested to see what's what here.

The system profiler is not working for me. But I *know* my machine can run the game without problem.

The only thing I can state for sure at this point is that from July 17th onward there will no longer be any data wiping.

Thank you very much for the announcement. I have it all done and hope to get in because I am done with the last game I was playing. So I have plenty of time to help find bugs and glitch's to get the best posable game to role out on release. Hope to see you in beta.

So it is confirmed that we will have problems with international merc units and servers/laggs
well so far so good at least we know it... I really hope that wont kill the fun.

I'm still stuck on one detail: does signing up for the closed beta automatically mean that you have to buy one of the two packages for the founders program (In short, does signing up for beta mean that you'll have to buy something)?

Ok so let me get this straight: The Closed Beta starts tomorrows, and then it starts again on July 17th? Is it two rounds of Beta, one for paid and one from randomly picked people from the forums?
