My two main mechs I love to pilot are based off a Executioner and a Fire moth.

Executioner is set in a Heavy Metal Highlander. Uses an XL 320

My firemoth is build into a Commando. 2 medium lasers, srm4 and srm6.

Interested in other players builds.

Which variant of the Executioner did you use? I have not had the chance to try it yet but I was planning to use this as my Faux Timber Wolf http://mwo.smurfy-ne...e08c2231485d2ad

Does your Commando have MASC?

Well, i know Pariah Devalis runs a Warhawk ..

To get a Clan heavy's firepower i need an IS assault and i do not own any (never liked them). Time for theorycraft.

Try to guess!

Barely. The range limitations on the IS LPlas and torso mounted limitations of all the weapons bothers me too much to regularly run it. That, and it really could use two more DHS.

T
hat, and the whole stance of the Battlemaster makes it a much easier target than it needs to be. Too tall. Very broad. At least the Warhawk is squat.

Well I have literally done nothing but build mechs that are the clan variant to the tee. I currently have, both the Shrikes two variants, and the Config A of the Wulfen, (even though it is not a clan mech its still an omnimech) the Templar Prime, the Mad Dog MK IV Config B, and Thor Prime. Done on the chassis (in order respectively) Highlander 733C/P, Spider 5D, Misery, Quickdraw, and Thunderbolt. I`m currently trying to get the Warwolf onto any chassis I can, but haven't made it work, along with other versions of the Thor on the Thunderbolts, but that is low on my list.

If you switch to 2 LRM 15's you can free one ton. I used it to add another dbl heatsink.

Only 20 and 10 tubes and using more than one shot to unload is a waste of DPS and damage potential especially if the enemy has AMS. Besides 1 DHS only adds 1.4 heat capacity and 0.14/sec heat dissipation; in 10 seconds time that only equates to losing 1.4 heat and to me that is not worth the loss in lethal efficiency.

Edit: Thanks for the input though. I would have added this to the main message but I forgot to add it in.

Adder Jenner.
exact same loadout as the Adder prime, with the weight from the targeting computer making up the tonnage difference in IS vs Clan difference perfectly.
XL210, 1x flamer, 2x ERPPC, 11 total DHS

Must be a sauna in that thing. I tried it once and after 2-3 shots I was running and cooling off for a few min. I really wonder if the CERPPC 5 extra points of damage will really help it out or not.

yeah, .89 heat efficiency.... can only fire them both if i am at 0 heat haha, but it works, just cant play it like a normal light, you slink around and shoot people and run, not very clan-like but its the only way to defeat these spheroid surat scum with it

Was doing some research and a possible better build (it gives you a sacrificial arm) would be the Raven 2X. Although these are poor excuses for our Clan tech and I cannot wait to get in one with its sleek lines and lethality. It has been very difficult to walk among the people of the Innersphere using their tech all of these years. Soon our time will come. :P

My favorite is Dire Wolf Prime.
so i (always) use an Atlas RS (4xLL - UAC5 - LRM15(Artemis) - SRM4(Artemis) - 15 DHS - STD305 - Endo)
its as close as i can get.

I put a 300XL, an LBX, an LRM 15 and an ERPPC in the Phoenix Thunderbolt.

So essentially a Summoner w/o jumpjets and a few other small details changed. And it`s one of my favorite builds TBH.
