Realy hoping for lots of ISN News Flash, of fleeing ships from the periphery; worlds fallen under unknown attacks, and desperate panic in the lyran alliance, draconis combine and rassalhague republic before an fullout alien invasion.
Hail to Kerenkskys children, baby.

Hey, Clan Tech is expensive baby! And if you don't want the Hero, you can always buy a regular one for 24,000,000 CB.

Because you don't know what's going on in-house and they could make a great deal of sudden, rapid progress. Though no one is talking about the Clans being launched any time soon either.

This thought has me shaking with anticipation. This would be wildly successful. Count me in. Not to mention clan hero mechs (Aidan Pryde Timberwolf, Joanna Vulture or Natasha Kerensky Dire Wolf)
Something else I have been wondering. There really is no proper way to balance Clan Mechs against Inner sphere mechs. If you nerf clan weapons, it will hurt PGI immeasurably. Clan tech is not just slightly better than 3050 IS tech, it's worlds better, sure in 10 years, the IS tech will be closer, but in 3050 it's "the best the IS has, was old before the star league fell apart." The only way I can see PGI balancing them is to pit clan players against superior numbers or mismatching the weight classes.
I don't know, all I know is this really is the best time in the BT timeline.....

It's definitely the best timeline, but I think balance is best... ignored. Force the Clans to fight against terrible odds. If bad players don't like it they can go IS. Those in the Clans will have a challenge worthy of them. That's my opinion.

Today marks the first day in March 3050. March and April, these months will likely change the face of MechWarrior:Online for the rest of eternity.
.
The "rest of eternity"..???? If by maybe the year and a half that MWO will "MAYBE" still be going, then "MAYBE"..
.
I wouldn't hold my breath for a massive "Clan Tech" release anytime soon, and that isn't good, but I don't see it happening, I also don't see CW/Community Warfare anywhere on the horizon either, and i'm not to thrilled about that..
.
Let me ask a question, how many "other" F2P titles have tanked because they missed the small window of opportunity given to them by a player base, and how long do other titles survive past a year or so..??
.
You see, you can't count MWO yet because the "It's Beta" bandaid used for every complaint put to PGI is what it is (technically), but MWO is available for anyone to download, and then buy "goods & services" from MWO, so is it really BETA..?? Like I said you "CAN'T" count MWO yet because (technically) it isn't released, so you cannot count it among other F2P titles, or even MMOs like WoW that have survived for many years, so how long do you think MWO will last..?? Not eternity that's for sure, and by judging of how many people are growing tired with a "TIMELINE" that should have never been announced in the first place, I would say MWOs window of opportunity is closing..
.
Don't hold your breath, you will turn blue and pass out...

Obviously the freebirth has no faith. Trueborns, with me! Let us march into the heart of the Inner Sphere and take back what is our birthright!

When the clans do appear, I bet it's more teams of developers in clan mechs versus random PUGS or premade 8s than something players will immediately be able to buy. How would that be for a fun (and even slightly canonical butt-whopping) surprise? They'll probably even refer to themselves as "raiders" on the forum until after the Dragoons conference, heh.

We get it already. But info is what I think the majority here is looking for.

Who's to say they won't release several chassis to "kick it off" and introduce more as time goes on. Either could happen. I could see from a business standpoint delaying the release of content to generate hype over different media outlets.
