Warthunder: 100USD = 21700 Golden Eagles
MWO: 100USD = 25000 MC
Planetside 2: 100USD= 10000 Station Cash
WoT: 100USD= 25000 Gold
So, what DO we get for shelling out 100USD for 25K?
Well, average cost per USD is 250MC
TIME Breakdown with 100USD
250 MC for 1 day is about 1 USD/Day
216 MC for 3 days is about 0,85 USD/day
178 MC for 7 days is about 0,7 USD/day
I cant see the higher tiers but if that is relatively linear then premium gets cheap.
Compare this to buying the LEAST MC at 1250MC for 7USD. Then you get 178,5MC per USD
which is about 30% less.
So if one buys the least MC and pays per day it becoms about 60% more expensive.
Now, lets compare mech prices (averages) to MC.
Mech pricing (MC)not counting XL engines
25 ton mech is 680-720 (700)
50 ton mech is 1440-1480 (1460)
75 ton mech is about 2350-2550 (2450)(medium between 70 and 80 tonnes)
100 ton mech is about 4000-5500 (4750)
Mech prices in C-Bills (Mil)
25 ton is about 1,6 to 1,7 (1,65)
50 ton is about 3,5 to 3,8 (3,65)
75 ton is about 5,85 to 6,4 (6,125)
100 ton is about 9,3 to 10,5 (9,9)
Now we try and convert that into MC pricing.
25 tonnes is about 2357 C-Bills per MC
50 tonnes is about 2500 c-bills per MC
75 tonnes is about 2500 c-bills per MC
100 tonnes is about 2084 c-bills per MC
So the average 1 MC is about 2360 C-Bills.
Let's now breakdown the Hero mechs and compare what we GET for what we shell out for
them.
Hero mech values in C-Bills
Pretty Baby: 14 160 000
Death Knell: 4 425 000
Yen-Lo-Wang: 8 850 000
Fang/Flame: 10 620 000
Ilya Muromet:12 390 000
I have a few of them and the cash bonus is nice but the pricing is neither linear or
even sensible compared to what I COULD get - I'm starting to wonder if the Cash bonus
would be the percentage in cost of an equivalent mech.
Death Knell:
The COM-1B comes close with 3 energy mounts but smaller engine at 1,7 mil but we also
need to add 1,5 mil in heatsinks so that lands us at 3,2 of it's value of 4,2
Result: Hero variant 25% more expensive
Pretty Baby:
This one gets an XL engine more powerful than the AWS-9M (340) but LOOSE 3 entire energy
mounts and has 1 less heatsinks. Cost: 3,5 Mil more.
Result: 20% more expensive but I doubt the loss of 3 energy mounts are worth it.
Yen-Lo_Wang:
Standard centurion CN9-A seems closest and the Wang loose:
-3 missile mounts
+1 ballistic mount
+1 Module
Poor trade off for the 5,1 MILLION difference in cost. 41% price difference. What were
they thinking when they cobbled together this guy? At least take half of that and add
double heat sinks or at least Endo-Steel. For it's price you might as well take a
standard centurion, spend 5,1 MILLION or less and upgrade the CN9-A into something
superior. The cash bonus does not make up for the limitations.
Ilya Muromet:
The CTF-3D seems close but switch 1 energy mount for a ballistic. The Ilya dumps the
JJ's and they both have XL engine.
Result: 20% more expensive which is not unreasonable for a hero mech.
Well, I and other who has the Yen-Lo-Wang can argue ourselves blue that the Wang have
better tactical options than the hunchback but there is no mistake that it is *******
CRIPPLED compared to you know - OTHER CENTURIONS like the CN9-A by just looking at what one PAYS for it.
