(repost because it keeps happening..)
So after the most recent patch the game is still crashing for me. It's not crashing straight to desktop anymore, its freezing up where I have to ctrl-alt-del and close it from task manager.
Before in previous patches when the game froze I could minimize it and bring it back up, which would un-freeze it. Not anymore though.. I have deleted the shaders cache folder with no success. If there is anything else I can do or advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Just experienced a very new crash along these lines.
It was kinda like how you used to disconnect and be the only one that was moving in the world. Except everything froze, but you could continue to hear the match going on around you in audio. No graphic updates, but you could hear yourself and others getting hit for about 40 seconds, then crash to desktop.
never experienced this before tonight, at least, not this way.

I have also experienced a couple crashes like this, actually two I know where right when I got a kill, I asked buddies on teamspeak if I had just killed someone and they confirmed. I was using LRM's + artemis at the time.
My Screen basically froze on their not yet damaged chassis, the second I would have expected to see the damage and death the game crashed.

The only thing I've been able to determine, is that Mechwarrior is causing the video card to timeout and not respond. Windows 7 has a feature to detect this, and it 'resets' the video driver instead of the system being rebooted. That's why you can *sometimes* get it back.

The only half-baked work-around I've found is that if I play in windowed mode, I can usually recover from the freeze. Haven't been able to prevent the freezes yet however.

same here,
Since the last Patch I experience Freezes happening randomly during the game and sometimes a crash. Drivers are all up to date, no beta drivers.

Thanks for letting us know. I encourage you all to write a ticket to Support describing the issue, with screenshots if applicable, and your PC specifications, as seen on the post above this one

Here, read this, it's us trying to find work arounds since January. It's been happening to me since 2/12 and almost no crashes before that. I have already posted my specs numerously since 2/12. I can't even get through one match without a Freeze-Up since the last patch.

Same here, and with a lot of other people who post randomly in crash related threads. I'd like to see a sticky on this one if possible, people are experiencing this issue for over a month now.
Situation: Game freezes at random times, usual in consecutive games, on average after 3 or 4 drops. The screen freezes, sometimes last audio keeps repeating. I don't hear the match progressing. Alt tab doesn't work, have to ctrl-alt-del and force quit the game.
Tried: Updating drivers, reinstalling client, deleting cache.
Ticket: submitted; ID #72209
Specs:
i5-2500K
8GB Ram
GTX 460 1GB (driver 314.07)
Win 7 x64
Not experiencing lockups anywhere else, not even Crysis 3.

Update (and bump, hope that's allowed):
I managed to stop my game freezes, at least haven't had one in 20 games so far. I've enabled vsync and added the game to my firewall exception list (comodo). A day before that I reinstalled the game - but after the reinstall I still had some freezes.
So, I don't know which of those actions solved/diminished my problem, but I'd like to share this already. Please try one or more of these steps and report if it work. Preferably: Try one thing (say vsync), then try. If it doesn't work, revert that setting and try the next thing (firewall). I'm going to do the same to check what exactly solved it.
