I really hate the new laser sound effect and I want to have it removed.

I actually really like it. Not only does it provide more feedback on the state of your weapon than before (i.e. you know about when you can fire it again) but I think it sounds powerful and industrial, like a battlemech should.

omg this sound is so annoying i think i will remove med laser from all my mech :D

Why in the world they ever change it in the first place..the old sound was just fine.
