I am getting seriously sick of the 6 light 2 assault teams were getting now with ELO and the cap win's. Give us team deathmatch mode. When you had weight balancing in assault mode was fine , as it is now you can get 8 lights vs say a mixed group with no lights and the lights will win from a cap on several maps with no chance in hell of the other team winning due to weight imbalance.
ELO has in some instances made this game worse. In general I approve but damm guys get a little weight balance and end this 8 150 kph mechs vs 8 70kph mechs. I've seen ELO matchmaking take things to the extreme several times ( 8 ravens) or (8 Assaults) I've seen both vs 8 mixed weight class. You guys need to write a partial weight balance back into matchmaking or give us team deathmatch asap.
At least with a TDM there would be some chance of winning vs the 8 light flock.

Would you expect to get a weight balanced fight if you were lights & Mediums and you drop against the Davion Assault Guards? It can happen if the prize will be enticing enough. Raids are done with fast lights and mediums and work best if the enemy is heavies and Assaults, dart in zip out. Assaults haven't even gotten into position. Weight balancing is fine, for tourneys and Solaris

I'd rather wish they would fix the brocken MM. I'm sick of always getting the tards who do 50 damage in an Atlas on my side of the fence.

I think there needs to be some addressing of matching weight classes. You see a lot of 4 man groups running ECM lights/assaults and just wrecking the opposing team, because the ECM team can rain death, while the other team can't even target the opposition, except visually. My personal partial fix, would be to limit groups to a maximum of 2 of each weight class, and/or a maximum of 2 ECM capable mechs per group. That would prevent A LOT of the problems with 8 man groups, with pop tart Cataphracts, covered by ECM with Ravens, and Atlas D-DC's. I really don't wnat to see 8 man groups devolve into needing to take specific mechs, and only those mechs, in order to compete effectively. However this game is still in open Beta, so there are still some things that need to be addressed, and most likely will be fixed, just not as fast as some people would like.
