You're right the band is awesome. The matchmaker needs work. People are going to *****. I think it would be be better to ask to PGI when they fix it to "Don't bring me down"

I've been waiting for someone so start a thread on the ELO. I saw them five times.

This is a link to the BEST ALBUM SIDE EVER!

And for you young people out there, an album is a set of records, at least 2 or more, that make up an overall composition or release. Before the LP, there were 78's, which played at 78 revolutions per minute. They were also smaller than an LP in size, so they could fit only two or three conventional length songs on each side. So, if you wanted to record an opera, you'd have to have several records to pull it off, and those records packaged together would be called an album. They would also be set up so that, say, if there were 12 records in a set, the first record would have sides 1 and 24, the next one 2 and 23. That way you could stack them on top of each other for record players with changers on them, which would drop one record at a time onto the turntable so you didn't have to get up and change sides.

For example, on the ELO album 'Out of the Blue' of which you are listening to side 3 of, the flip side is side 2, and the first record has side 1 and 4. Anyway, done with my lesson.

Next time you talk to someone and they pull out a record and ask if you want to listen to an album, you can politely inform them that they have a record in their hand, and if it were an album, they'd be holding up multiple records.

And while this thread might have started as a troll, this particular post is not. Enjoy the album side! And turn your speakers up. It's pretty powerful music!

I remember listening to ELO and using the record sleeve to clean out the seeds.

For you young kids, there used to be these things called records.

For you REALLY young kids, there used to be seeds in pot.

After multiple threats of physical violence from my Merc Corp Associates, I had to stop making ELO threads. Good to see someone else picking up the torch.
