Servers will be coming down at 10:00 PDT/17:00 UTC to apply the weekend sale. We are also applying a hot fix(client patch required). The hot fix improves the client stability and hopefully fixes the graphical corruption certain people were seeing. Remember if you are still experiencing crashes and graphical corruption the best way to help us track them down is to file a ticket.

Thank you for being the best fans out there.

Estimated Downtime: Complete

UPDATE: We're experiencing incredibly slow upload speeds, so the update is taking longer than we expected. We'll update this as we have more info. -Garth

All System Nominal.

Good to hear. I am not having any problems that most people seem to be, but glad we are getting the fixes they need. Also thanks for the weekend sale! You guys rock!

Just clarifying, as my tech literacy is almost nil. Is this hot fix supposed to improve the poor FPS issues many of us are experiencing?

Thanks for giving us the heads-up.

Also thanks for the UTC/GMT time, it's appreciated by many, I'm sure.

Thank you for the updates but is there not someway!, perhaps with UI 2.0???, to update us IN GAME! * sigh* This post was made while I was actually mostly enjoying the game even with the rare teleporting. Dunno about everyone else but while I am gaming I am not reading the forum on my second screen. Watching **** maybe but not reading. Hopefully UI 2.0 brings a chat lobby or something. Still ... keep up the great work guys loving the game. Not feeling the pain of the grind like others yet.

DLS there is no way they could work on the game while it is still online and people are playing. They are adjusting code and that would most likely cause the system to crash and have unexpected results if still online. You just have to be patient and wait like everyone else. Even WOW had weekly maintenance downtime.

It appears that the ETA is DOA and probably was a WAG. Hope it is successful, though.

I think what he meant was, if they could broadcast a "servers coming down" message to players in the game, not update the game while they are playing.

DLS, we are going to be introducing a in game message system and front end message to let users know when we are coming down.

When you are coming down? Like a thunderstruck or maybe like an alien invasion or anything like that?

That would be kinda cool. That or maybe a Sphere shaped Clan Dropship. One starts coming down on every map... "OH NO!" Games shut down instantly when it touches the ground.

It might be worth first upload the update, and after that to organize a idle? You make us wait. And also at the same time lose themselves opportunities for earnings.

Sadly it doesn't just work that way Deconstructor, we also have to have a quick smoke test on the patch before we let the masses back into the game. We do try to make the patch process as fast as possible. It could be worst and of course can always be better.

Is there a particular reason why the highlander stats should pop up everytime I click the social button?
