Actually, I've noticed this same issue after having both played and played against Raven's, after the leg hit box patch. It is trivially easy to shoot the Raven's legs after the patch, especially compared to the legs of say a cicada. When shooting a cicada's legs, there is a good chance your shot will pass through his legs. When shooting a Raven, any shot in the general direction of the legs will hit it. It's like the raven is wearing a dress, and any hit near where the legs would be in a dress shape hit the legs.

I didn't really notice it till I started playing a 4 ppc stalker and I could 1 shot legs off of light mechs. Shooting the legs off a Raven is massively easier than shooting the legs off the other fast mechs, i.e. cicada, spider, jenners etc

PGI really went to far on that nerf. If they want to fix the body hit boxes for being hit then fine, but the Raven should not be the ONLY mech with this glaring weakness.

I got legged in Jenner and Spider too. Thats not a only Raven "problem". For me it isn´t a problem, so no need to buff the Raven! Change your playstyle. Common builds are not that good as everyone talking!

They aren't easier to hit. People just hate you more than other lights and for good reason.

All mechs can be legged. Raven's were nerfed so that their hit box for their legs is LARGER than their actual legs. Was this also done to the Jenner and Spider? Show me the proof. Here's the proof it was done to Ravens.

"The change was made to the Raven leg hitbox and resulted in the box not being drawn so tightly to the actual legs of the mech due to their small size." - Daemur, Pgi Staff

I wouldn't say ravens are easy to leg just that their gait seems to bring the leg up to torso level. And as their torso is hard as hell to hit you end up doing more damage on the legs. The cicadas are easier to hit in general so they don't have to get legged to kill. On a personal note I try to leg anything that is fast moving, it helps the teammates with bad aim.

I try to leg almost any light mech I come into contact with when I'm also a light mech.

Also, if I leg a 3L and we're on the opposite of the map from anyone/anything, I just run away and leave them...

Okay... but this doesn't seem to be an issue with commandos or spiders when fight with or against 'em, only ravens.

Ravens have longer legs compared to Spiders and Commandos.

They made the hit box on the Ravens legs way to big. To be honest, the leg hit box of a Raven was never that much of a problem, it was only the torso area of the Ravens that were a problem. Now, however, an enemy can still hit a Ravens legs even when they completely missed them. I have seen a Highlander completely miss a Raven with its PPCs and Gauss but some how is able to take out both legs. Hell, even the Highlander pilot admitted the shot should have done nothing and was left scratching his head.

Why is it PGI can't get the hit box right on the Ravens? I get legged far faster in my Raven then I do my Cicada and my Raven is a hell of a lot faster... And yes, I do hit and runs in both of those mechs, I don't circle fight with larger mechs if I can avoid it.

The legs on the Ravens seem easier to hit than the Jenner, Commando or the Spider. It's almost like the cockpit on the catapult: Aim in the general area and you can't miss.

Here's the post explaining why the Raven legs are so easy to hit - http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__2087708

Considering ballistic state rewind is in, there is no good reason to give any mechs larger hitboxes than the size of any part of the mech. Rewarding poor aim is not good for the future of this game.

The Jenner may need some hitbox revisions as well, most of the time I kill them due to legging or front CT hits and most of the torso seems to count as the CT, except where the arms attach.

I can't remember the last time I killed 1 by hitting a side torso. Their leg hit boxes seem to match the size of the leg, they aren't as easy to hit as the Raven's legs but also aren't impossible to hit.

There is a bug for some reason on the Jenner where you can shoot them in the back and some or even half of the damage goes to center torso.

Yeah raven legs seem to take to much damage especially against lasers, all you have to do is keep the lasers on the legs general area and the legs seem to somehow get hit with almost all the damage of that laser's cycle.
