Clan, (mobs/riots/etc) have risen up or taken over an area (city/base/center - pick a map), these would be NPC units that spawn all over the map that the players have to kill and gain points for killing out the infestation. Once one team reaches a specific score they win.
- Certain "hot areas" would spawn more "higher scoring" units - thus drawing both teams there.
- Delays in "hot areas" so you just can't sit and wait for next spawn
- Random "hot area" so you have to run about and look for them.
For example (we will use Clan invasion):
- Clan Warriors have started to invade and a call has gone out from Frozen Moon base 9.
- Both teams are dropped on the frozen planet map (because they have taken up contract)
- they immediately see little elementals running about and start shooting them (gain points)
- Hot landing zones (near middle) drop in a few clan mechs (which fire back) along with more elements (Maybe some tanks or other transports)
- Players move to take out Clan mech (lots of points) - ooh there is enemy player - we want "bounty" for contract for saving planet from Invaision and kill the enemy player (more points?)
- Hot landing zone is cleared out another spawns some place else - need to scout it out and move on.
- Medium/Light mechs could race about looking for spawn points and killing low point elementals or tanks/armored cars which have wandered off.
- Heavy/Assault Mechs move to spawn points to deal with dropped mechs and enemy team mechs as well as kill spawning elementals/tanks/armored cars
- Need scouting
- Hiding from other team
- Don't have to worry about base capping behind you (conquest)
Invading types could be:
- Clan (for now)
- Enemy Mercs(Pirates)
- Rioters/Mobs
- Alien/xeno?
Invading Unites could be:
Could just keep it to Mechs, but to add spice/more flavor add the following...
- Mechs
- Tanks (different types)
- Armored Cars
- Elementals
