Hsr For Lasers Worse After Patch

Greetings

It seems that since this last patch i am having to lag shoot again. Even with my 300ms ping i used to be able to aim on target to score damage, but not anymore. This on top of the very random ballistics problem of hits not scoring damage has made my game experiencee far worse. Maybe this is a sign i need to take a break from this game for a while.

* No, i am not missing the target.


TLDR:

Pre-patch i didn't have to lagshoot with lasers, now i do.

It is very noticeable that the HSR has been degrading for laser's every patch since it has been released. I am pretty sure PGI are aware of the issue as well I wish that would at least acknowledge it on one of the many posts about hit registration on this sub forum.

Noticing reduction with ballistics, not sure about lazors..

its certainly off on lasers. i have an average of 300ms ping here, damage wasnt registering on a moving lights leg. reticule doesnt flash red and neither does the paperdoll.

A lot of us from 300+ ping areas like Australia are having the same issue. Frustrating because everything was working perfectly fine pre last patch.

Can certainly confirm average damage with a 5 x LL Stalker brawler has dropped significantly. Can't say for sure if it's a game issue or I'm getting worse at playing (which is always possible) - about 25% lower match damage. 300ms ping. Sample of about 30 matches.

I didn't notice the hit detection problems with lasers, but I certainly notice it with missiles (including LRMs) and ballistics.

Try ER PPCS and lasers. I hit a mechs with 3 double ER PPC Alphas (he was 10 metres away so I did not miss) and no hit registration, he turned around and shot me to bits.
