One of the more epic nights for the spider as it entered drop after drop and dominated the field. Most of the drops came down to the tiny terrors as the random pugs dropped one by one due to dull wits - commended handful held their own as well. However, this trio of spider's with a backup skirmisher Centurion to watch their backs
Below is the better game we had and as can be seen, a spider can achieve 1000k + damage as the PGI Gods intended. This particular game came down to a crazy nail biter where our pugs dropped fairly quickly and the killer spider's kicked into overdrive. First losing our cent to malicious ppc fire early in the drop, then the loss of our comrade spider to a disintegrated leg, from the remaining 4-5 mechs left, till death. Only two remained and would not be held down, taking no less then total victory. Remaining at this point was a Stalker, Highlander, Centurion, Catapult (might have been the other Highlander, it was a blur) and Jagger; couple were damaged and the rest pretty damn fresh.....the spider's did not hesitate.
Using the terrain of Canyon Network to their advantage at every turn (and unbelievably did not get stuck the whole time, else it would have been dire), the two remaining spider's executed a deadly dance in the thick of oppressive fire generally located in the theta area, focusing and picking off one by one of the weaknesses and mistakes of the haunted and bewildered opposing forces, whose shots were unable to find their intended marks. While getting peppered by LRM's (always looking for a rock to block them with through the corner of the spider pilot's eyes) it was noticed that the Stalker was a pure LRM boat, thus we had decided to save him for desert once we were done with the main courses. The comments started to appear in the chat box as we put to death mech after mech until only the LRM boat was left and well... the torture after that was shear agony and the spider's gorged themselves, as every piece of armor was stripped as were the opposing team's dignity with 2-3 minutes left on the clock.
Here's the whole match recorded by the peeps on both teams who knew each other, and thx to them all for that... http://www.twitch.tv...ointx/c/2419226
