BEWARE OF EPIC SPIDER'S: COMING TO A BATTLEFIELD NEAR YOU!

One of the more epic nights for the spider as it entered drop after drop and dominated the field. Most of the drops came down to the tiny terrors as the random pugs dropped one by one due to dull wits - commended handful held their own as well. However, this trio of spider's with a backup skirmisher Centurion to watch their backs :) , tore down assaults, heavies, mediums, and lights as though they were mere playthings for their amusement. The team tonight was comprised of xBAATORx (aka. The Planes of Hell), illmakeufamous (aka Billy the Kid), Saxie (aka Last Call), and Marlowe Lecter (aka Round Robin), whom intertwined finesse and violence in a wild whirlwind of death and humiliation, tearing asunder body parts, and hunting down the next victim before the parts hit the ground.

Below is the better game we had and as can be seen, a spider can achieve 1000k + damage as the PGI Gods intended. This particular game came down to a crazy nail biter where our pugs dropped fairly quickly and the killer spider's kicked into overdrive. First losing our cent to malicious ppc fire early in the drop, then the loss of our comrade spider to a disintegrated leg, from the remaining 4-5 mechs left, till death. Only two remained and would not be held down, taking no less then total victory. Remaining at this point was a Stalker, Highlander, Centurion, Catapult (might have been the other Highlander, it was a blur) and Jagger; couple were damaged and the rest pretty damn fresh.....the spider's did not hesitate.

Using the terrain of Canyon Network to their advantage at every turn (and unbelievably did not get stuck the whole time, else it would have been dire), the two remaining spider's executed a deadly dance in the thick of oppressive fire generally located in the theta area, focusing and picking off one by one of the weaknesses and mistakes of the haunted and bewildered opposing forces, whose shots were unable to find their intended marks. While getting peppered by LRM's (always looking for a rock to block them with through the corner of the spider pilot's eyes) it was noticed that the Stalker was a pure LRM boat, thus we had decided to save him for desert once we were done with the main courses. The comments started to appear in the chat box as we put to death mech after mech until only the LRM boat was left and well... the torture after that was shear agony and the spider's gorged themselves, as every piece of armor was stripped as were the opposing team's dignity with 2-3 minutes left on the clock.

Here's the whole match recorded by the peeps on both teams who knew each other, and thx to them all for that... http://www.twitch.tv...ointx/c/2419226

..... you have been warned

No worries. There is probably a better easier way to do it, but *shrugs* that's how I do it. I suppose I never saw that 'my media' button before, so maybe that's hte preferred way?

Premades with several lights scare me, no matter what I'm piloting.

Props on your epic game. What builds were you using? LLas + 2 med, 3 med pulse, erppc...?

Normaly I´m not a big fan of such showoff threads, but 4kill 4assists 1k damage with a Spider? Epic indeed. gz

Confirming I was in fact one of the PuGs caught during the Reign of Terror. Also confirming that one of your less cautious Spiders did in fact eat face fulls of SSRM2s until dead dead dead. Also confirming I DIAF'd about 0.2 seconds later. However Spider dear Spider... repeat after me... not all Catapults are LRMBoating targets

That is epic, sincere congrats from a fellow (but far less successful) light mech pilot. I'm probably below you guys in league so I'll never see you but I have experienced some flightly Spiders. In fact, as far as I am concerned all Spiders are to be feared. And I use a 200 XL Commando!

I support the OP 100%.

There are few things more fun in this game than 4 people running "useless" mechs (spiders and commandos), simply dominating PUG matches for hours on end, capping when necessary but for the most part methodically taking down one enemy at a time. BTW, When 3 of those are 4mg /1 LL spiders, the flaming and insults go through the roof. On that note, there needs to be a Quake III style "humiliation" announcement on MG and Flamer kills:D
