Does anyone know the exact IP address for the Game Server in Canada?

I am in Asia. My ping has recently increased to a concerning level so I called my internet service provider and they said they would re-route the signal to the most optimal path to the server in Canada

I used to get on average 300ms, best performance was 280ms but ever since 3 weeks ago, I am getting a constant 340 - 375 ms.

Thanks

The most you can do is run DNSBench a few times. http://www.techsuppo...-dns-server.htm

My advice is to go straight to the Nameserver tab, push the "Add/Remove" button in the upper left, then "Rebuild Custom List" at the bottom of the pop up; This will take ~45 minutes, then you'll spend another ~2 hours testing and retesting.

Does anybody know if this is correct? I can't seem to find the IP anywhere else, and I need to give it to my ISP to they can stop shaping my game traffic and killing my ping!

Many thanks in advance...

Just seen 70.42.29.65 in another post, but the poster seems to be a little more sure about it.
Does anybody else have anything to add?

Maybe the game server is on a private PC with a dynamic IP address... could explain a few of the connectivity issues during the matches :P

A simple way to see to which IP addresses your MWOclient connects to is using the resourcemonitor (if you're using Win 7)

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Resource Monitor.
Select the [Network] tab.

The top subwindow should show all processes with network traffic.
There you click the check box next to the "MWOclient.exe"
In the bottom two subwindows you will now see the filtered network traffic for MWO.
The client usually connects to two or three remote IP addresses.
I guess the one on port 80 (http) is where the client gets the news, colourful advertisements, etc. .
The other addresses should be related to the actual gaming.

New Zealand is a bit cut off from the MWO servers for the moment. I used to get ~230 for Oceanic and North America, but now it's unplayable.
