With the recent balance changes I want to make my it clear that the main issue with balance in this game is not fixed. PUGS are broken! The AI frequently decides to run away from the other 7 team members and die. The targeting mechanic is so broken that these "Pugs" do under 100 damage. I don't even believe they have a tactics programmed into their algorithms.
This gross misjudgment of balance is large in part due to the slackers at PGI not producing an adequate product.
I can not believe how ******* terrible these "pugs" can be.
Besides that, the boating changes rock.
Cheers.

PUG = Pick Up Group. The random people that the match maker uses to fill up teams in addition to/in the absence of pre-mades (people who group up ahead of time to play with each other specifically).
If you just click "Launch" without being in a group, you're a PUG.
Needless to say, the quality of PUG teammates varies wildly from near-godlike in their skills to absolute idiots.

This post is gold, I was actually thinking the same thing...though I blame it on the matchmaker. We were all noobs once, but with all the original pilots leaving (I say that, because all the guys that got me in to MW, and then started playing MWO with me have quit), the majority of PuGs are noobs, thus why they seem to be in plague numbers.
