The previous suggestion for one have been denied due to the statement that it would require a new "cockpit like" model and that the engine has problems with more than one camera angle.
( I can't find that post now , but if someone can link it here so that we can reconsider if what they said before still stands or not )
As now we have a 3PV almost integrated having an "outside of the mech" camera that is glued to the rear of the mechs head doesn't seem so impossible , so is it now time to push for one?
