It isn't my idea, it comes from here...
http://mwomercs.com/...ction-to-start/
Basically, reflect any damage caused by Friendly Fire to a Teammate during the first moments of a match back to the Shooter. By the first few moments I'm referring to a timer of course. 5, 10, 15 seconds should be workable. Ideally, reflect this damage to CT Internal or Head Internal.
Why? Isn't it more realistic to allow the damage? Shouldn't everyone be more careful? Yes, they should but they aren't because it isn't their Giant Stompy Robot who just had their back laid wide open, leg blown off, arm blown off, etc.
So what does this help with?
1 ) DC Farmers who have macro'd a fire/move command. This right here should be more than enough reason.
2 ) People who can't be bothered to test/setup weapon groups in Testing Grounds.
3 ) People who can't be bothered to test/setup weapon groups by carefully clearing the weapons from all team mates prior to firing by aiming at the sky, turning around and aiming at the back of the spawn area, etc.
4 ) TK Griefers (sorta)

Those of you voting no... could you explain why?

No. There's no logical canon explanation for "mirrored damage". This makes no sense. I would much better like that weapons be locked in the first 15-30 seconds of the match or so to prevent accidental shots.

I'm not trying to make sense in terms of Canon. I'm trying to get to the fight in one piece while discouraging macros and lazy people.

Exactly, so just lock weapons for the first few seconds of a match. This is more than enough IMO.

As someone who has been instantly killed at the beginning on more than one occasion by a dumbass that hit the Alpha Strike button, I say yes. It's extremely irritating to be delegated to a long range, noncombat role, or even outright killed, before the game even really starts. I support reflect damage at game starts.
