So, got the new Doom. Not as dumbed down and horrible as I thought it was going to be terribad. It is not. I am most pleased.

Only thing I dont like so far are the finisher moves. But on the higher difficulties you will need the extra health pickups the AI drop --go Nightmare or go home-- But unlike other games where AI will stop what they are doing and wait for you to murder their friend, EVERYTHING runs to get behind you while you are preforming a finisher to murder the **** out of you when you exit the animation.

Not many opertunities to play from cover, so you blitz everything and never stop moving.

Cute little secrets as always. And as funny as I find it, Doom has the best wallclimbing mechanic that I have seen in a game so far.

So yeah, I went there, and I commandeered Kerensky for defensive measures. If you haven't been around Potterites, there's no reason you'd get it, or care to get it. Kind of a cross-genre reach anyway (in keeping with theme) No regrets.

BTW, Cap'n Jack Sparrow? Nice choice for K-Town and neighboring regions. Thumbs-up.
