So what am I forgetting? I have a long way to go to get to even 100 but surely the announcement mail wouldn't say so otherwise. Let's get to 200 at least and prove it right, eh? Remember, we're counting things after open beta as stated!

What other new features* have been added to the game?

* Bug fixes or "finally taking 5 minutes to edit an XML to fix preexisting things" are not new features. That's also why balance changes aren't on this list. I'd argue "adding a sound effect" barely qualifies, but I suppose you should feel free to submit it. Let's see what's changed since Open Beta, shalt we? B)

You're going to have to edit your OP to add what everyone can add to the list.

Add each Hero, and list each new color that came with them. Also Champion mechs.

Double XP for first winning match for each mech per day.

Seismic Sensor

Heck, a Stats page!!

Testing Grounds

The ability to change colors on Hero Mechs.

Custom skins: Franken (+3 colors), Cobra (+3}, Tarten {+3}, Bucaneer (+3)

Patterns: Tiger, Mountain Line, Vagabond, Digital, Fractal, Sherman, Virus

Lots of Option Menu additions:
Brightness Slider
Gamma Slider
Damage Glow check box
Throttle Decay
Arm Lock

Mouse Settings into options

BattleGrid Command Console

That'll keep you busy for mmmm 20 minutes?

Usually how this kind of thread plays out is the next poster starts out with a number starting where the last poster left off, but I can do that. I don't think it'll take very long.

Hmm, I tend to consider features to be distinct mechanics and categories, but, this seems fair.

Whatever the intent of the post, I'd actually love to see this completed. If my disappointment with the game/PGI is just a personal perception problem (based on my focus on certain things), it would be a great way to correct that.

So, thanks for putting the time/effort into this (whatever the outcome).

Valient effort Victor. However if "hundreds of features" had indeed been added any company would have already had a list of them surely?
AND
would have made that list available in or around launch to "prove" what they have done. I am not mocking your efforts or the principle here btw. But if we who play the game are struggling to think of features with a target of 200+ it is clear what PGI thinks of as a feature and what actual players do are wildly different.

I agree with your premise that "balance" changes ARE NOT FEATURES any more than adding oil to your cars engine is a "Luxury", if you fail to do it then the engine eventually breaks down....

Anyway back to topic. I had to leave off typing this for a while so maybe these are out of date but has anyone mentioned the Orion yet? Or Phoenix/Saber for that matter and their bonus skins and paints and cockpit items...? Those have to add a few to the list yes?

See, the problem is you aren't doing PGI math where 2+2=4 but 2.0+2.0=4^x+37-24/x where x is the natural log of the number of doritos you've eaten in the past 3 hours. So every color, camo, mech variant, consumable variant etc. is included in their 100s.

Posts down here don't count towards the post count under your name. They do count in profiles though.
