Commenting on any actual hacks would be against forum guidelines. So I would advise against it if people know of any and instead submit a support ticket or just keep it to themselves until found out.

There are some in existence (not terribly effective for the most part from what I remember).

But there are a lot of crazy players that mostly account for the craziness.

In theory it can't be done (or done easily anyway) because PGI/Piranna has control of the servers. So any wierdness is probably bugs in the game, issues from the latest patch, or internet lag.

But frankly there is no way for us as players to tell for sure.

There were hacks in use at one point, specifically, an aimbot that didn't work as an aimbot, but would display a percentage of how much of the target mechs were visible.

That was patched out a long, long time ago. This game's server side, so there's not a lot anyone can do, despite claims to the contrary.

yea what that guys said^^^^^^

the penilty for being caught hacking this game would be perminent ban. i dought it would be worth while attempting hacks to be honest. ive had people call me out for hacking aimbot a couple of times after getiting headshots and after pulling of rare freaky shots and been told that id be reported.

one night i killed 2 cored mechs with 1 shot (more luck then skill) it resulted in me being called a hacker and reported. nothing come of it as im still playing. :D

We do not discuss hacks or exploits on the MWO forums to avoid advertising them.

If you find one, report it to support@mwomercs.com, but otherwise please keep quiet about it. Every discussion about it will have the exact opposite effect of what you desire to achieve.
