If you have a mech with a hand actuator, then you have what it takes to be a Confederated Salvage Junk Hound™. We offer competitive contracts and danger pay, and as the largest employer of independent Mechwarrior contractors we guarantee your freedom to choose your scrap sights. Skill Requirements:
Education: Not applicable

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Mech Driver's Licence (Class L, M, H, or A) Nuclear Reactor safety Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Material Information and Safety training. Gyro Maintenance and Safety course. Pilot Licence (for Jump capable mechs)

Experience: Experience an asset

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English, Scream English.

Type of Equipment: 15m+ Nuclear powered BattleMech

Type of Travel: Long-haul, Interplanetary

Documentation Knowledge: Mech logbook, Scrap collector licence, Accident or incident reports

Communication Equipment Experience: Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate and pilot BattleMechs to reclaim battlefield salvage. Using Terrain as cover, proven ability to hold target locks, heat management skills, receive and relay information to Scrap Field Commander, Oversee condition of Mech and inspect Reactor, Gyro, Weapons, Actuators and Secondary systems

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Mech record check, Medical exam.

Own Tools/Equipment: Battle Mech, Steel-toed safety boots, head protection

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Must be able to work in hot cramped spaces, must work well under pressure, work in groups or alone.

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to undertake stellar travel, Willing to travel for extended periods, Willing to travel for several weeks

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others or alone, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning, and Willingness to kill.

I'm mostly a light Mech pilot but have been working my way up the weight classes.
and i do enjoy me some team work with a side of slag.
