Spoiler
Trying to get a regular group of people to play 12s. All are welcome, Crops, pugs, noobs etc.
We will be playing in Comstar's team speak server under the F8L FOOD COURT channels.
GMT-5: 8:00pm
GMT+8: 9:00am
GMT+10: 12:00pm
GMT+12: 2:00pm
UTC: 01:00 http://time.is/UTC
We will attempt to “Blind drop” (drop without knowledge if anyone else is playing 12s) during US Prime time and we should be able to find opponents. (US prime time starts around that time I have listed)
Most teams will run fairly heavy but in the spirit of bettering ourselves I would like to try running a well-rounded team that involves some tactical maneuvers.
Play book:
#1. Bring anything. A good quick way to get the day started
#2. Submit by KAIV

** If you have any unit composition and tactics you would like to run, please feel free to submit them.

Evening 12s are possible
Spoiler
It is true that finding a 12man during the evening will most likely result in “search fail” because there is no one forming one in the world but with a bit of patience and elbow grease it is very much possible.
Forming a 12 during our most active time really means finding 24 willing players to group together. Others and myself have been very successful in rallying 24 players on most days and with your help we can have plenty more matches running. We serve on a first come first in basis and we are opening our invitation to all people, their friends, mercenary corps and houses to join in on the action.
Find us in Comstars TeamSpeak server any night. This is a very active around the clock public server so feel free to group up with 3 others while you wait or even possibly look into joining one of the many guild/corps that are on display.
To keep things fun and simple I normally implement one rule. These rules are set in place to try negate unfun lopsided victories and extreme weight imbalance. Some of these rules are listed in the spoiler
rules/game modes.
Video Proof that rallying 24 pilots is possible during our afternoons and evenings.
I truly believe the best the game has to offer is in 12 man coordinated matches. If you are interested whether new or veteran pilot please feel free to drop by Comstar anytime; ask around or look for me. You can also reply in this thread and I will do my best to keep an eye out for you. If you are a Corp struggling to field 12v12, feel free to leave your corps details here and I will come looking for you in team speak.
12v12 can be a friendly, organized but fun and enjoyable experience and we aim to achieve that every match.
Fruits of our labor:
All videos are 12v12 premade. Mix bag, random vs random and random vs Merc Corp.
Plenty more games that haven’t been recorded. If you have ever played with us, any acknowledgement would greatly help assist verifying my claims.
Things to Bring:
patience & Resilience: One of the teams has to lose and rage quitting after 1-2 losses won’t accomplish anything. 12 mans are an entirely different game from your average pickup game (pug) or 4mans and it will take more than a few games to break into. Luckily for you, we have a lot of experienced pilots in Comstar and everyone is ready to mix it up and help each other out.
Reasons I am doing this?
There is an abundance of Oceanic/Asia pilots that want to play 12s, problem is we are all separated among different servers and this makes it very difficult to visually indicate that we have the numbers to do so.
I love playing 12s and I obviously can’t play them alone, so I’m on a mission sent by the MechWarrior Gods to help this regions people to best of my abilities.
