Anyone have any information about this new mech?

Looks to be a CPLT-K2. with snubnose PPCs?

Both of those are possibilities based off the picture. I am hoping for the second one. Both of those are exactly 65tons.

Probably has 6E hardpoints + 2 AMS hardpoints, from what I can tell.

My guess on it's loadout? 1 ER Large Laser, 1 Medium Laser, 1 Small Laser, 1 Large Pulse Laser, 1 Medium Pulse Laser, 1 Small Pulse Laser and 2 Anti-Missile Systems (Just from what the 'Mech's name implies to me)

I'm with Dyson, looks like a laser boat to me. If that's all it is I'd rather have a Quickdraw 5K, it's faster and has jump jets. If they give this one JJs, however, it might be worth the switch for the double AMS.

Looks like a direct upgrade over the K2 to me. Before anybody says "but mah ballistics!", the Jagermech already took over the ballistics role for the heavy class--using large ballistics on a K2 is kinda silly. The K2's main loadouts these days are pretty much always built around energy weapons (namely PPCs), and the Jester lets you replace your silly MGs with much more worthwhile ML or even SPL if that floats your boat. You've also got 2 AMS, and possibly the proper amount of module slots (K2 is shafted at only 1 slot).

At this rate, there's just more indirect K2 nerfs.

The sad thing is that I think the Catapult in general is still too squishy.

It looks to me like a 6E Catapult, which even the Quickdraw-5K is superior to this design.
